You being a blatant wow fanboy, your 'criticism' is hardly chocking. Obviously, you have little concept or experience as to what a beta is. The current version availible to beta testers have, by default, all graphic settings on the lowest mark. The screens released with proper graphic settings look amazing.

MMO UI is basically standard by now. Sure, some things differ, but really, to say that WAR rip off WoW's UI is equal to claiming that it's a ripoff to include Orks and Elves in a fantasy MMO (speaking of which, much of what we see in the WarCraft universe was used for decades in the Warhammer universe). Basically, it's not rip-off when it's branch standard.

Your blatant ignorance regarding WAR's RvR system is so mind boggling, I won't even bother commenting on it. I will say this though, WAR is a PvP focused game with elements of PvE, whereas WoW when built was basically an MMO single player/group PvE experience.

At the end of the day, the games are obviously competitors, but they are not seeking to fill the same niche. I believe alot of older players and people who want a more meaningful PvP experience will switch to WAR.

Never played the original game, but Ninja Gaiden 2 has a secured place on my to-buy list.

I've been browsing around the market for casual games lately. Well, rather, I've played the Goa.com games for months, but I'm also interested in other games.

I'm currently playing Gunbound and beta testing Kart n' Crazy. They're both cool games in their own way. I've tried out Kart Rider, but it doesn't quite push my buttons.

Anyway, I'm looking for other artillery/worm type of games, simply because they rock in so many ways. Gunbound and worms aside, I played this awesome real-time pvp worms years ago, called Liero. It was pure mayhem and good fun. It's very dated now, though, and it would be cool with an alternative of sorts. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Yep, got it yesterday and I'm amazed by the quality of this game. Surprisingly, the cuteness didn't bother me as well. It's really made with love and great passion. Very much recommend it and 15 bucks is a bargain.

Come on Vader is cool and all when it comes to one-liners. But his fighting? Watching plants grow is more exciting! Anakin, Darth Maul, Count Duku would all be valid and awesome Soul Calibur characters, but Vader has never been anything but lame when it come to sword skills.

Yoda on the other hand is the hight of Light Sabre awesomeness!

Obviously, this is a matter of right and wrong, and I'm right ;)

Yoda ftw. Vader is massively cool, and it'd obviously be priceless to hear nothing but his hissing during the loading screen. He's so limited though. It seems to me, the devs are in a tricky situation with Vader. Should one be true to the way he fights in Star Wars and be left with the most boring fighting game character of all time, or should they reinvent him and upset the fans? Obviously, a one would need to find a middle-way of sorts, but I wouldn't want to be the guy responsible for such a task.

Yoda will be awesome in Soul Calibur. Sure, it make no sense, whatsoever, but he's so awesome I don't care!

RPG: planescape: torment, baldur's gate series, icewind dale I and II, star wars: KotOR (specs may be a little high)

zebruter

I was just thinking of KOTOR, hard not to love this game. I think the computer I had back in these days were quite equal to what OP has described. 500mb ram should be ok, but naturally more ram is always king.

Most phenomena go in reoccuring 'waves'. Such is nature, such is economics and such is the games market. In any system which lack some kind of homogenizing principle, there is bound to be patterns of this sort.
