RE changed in 2004 with RE4 and it's just been progression of that. Shocks me that people still talk about it changing when it hasn't been the same for quite some time now.

People complained, regardless of RE4 and 5 being financial and critical successes, and Capcom actually listened to an extent. Revelations was the best in the series in a long time as it offered a good mix of slow burn horror and all out action (and Raid > Mercenaries), and RE6 just feels like more of that. They even went as far to bring back zombies.

People will never be satisfied, you give then what they want and they still complain

That is true, but none of them are truly scary....Game developers need to come together and make something that will truly scare tha living daylights out of us....i kno this title got crappy reviews but Alan Wake almost hit it.

I've just recently played the RE6 demo and loved it!!! There's nothing wrong with killing zombies with your friend. Don't get me wrong but the classics were great, but the fans were complaining about the games setup after RE1 was released...All im saying is that they cant please everybody..i think survival horror is dying in general and is re-emerging as action/shooters/// but i will be getting RE6 next month
