2000 Trophies + MGS3 Platinum!

Before I get into it, here's a rundown of the plat's I've got since CoD: MW3.

#29. Saints' Row: The Third: Great game. Got it for nothing as I borrowed it off a friend. Gameplay was very fun, unfortunately never got to try out the whole online aspect. Bought the 3 DLCs as well, were a waste of money to be honest. But nice to have the 100% and 81 trophies!

#30. Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Excellent game. Campaign was decent for a FPS, but the online was where the game really stood out. Spent about 2 days total online. Recently bought the Onslaught & Vietnam DLC packs, can't wait to try 'em out and hopefully add another 100% to my collection.

#31. WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2010: Poor game to be honest. Road to Wrestlemania were ok I guess, a little difficult to get all the collectibles but I got 'em. The cutscenes were someway cheesy at times. Glad to have this game traded back in to be honest.

Now for the main part of the blog, my MGS3 Platinum trophy, 'Snake Eaten'. My 5th platinum of the year and 32nd overall. Definitely one of the best games I've ever played. The cutscenes are a pleasure to watch. Would've been nice if they added a pause option in the middle of 'em, as some are very long. I actually should've had the platinum back in February, but some rendering issues with some EU remakes made 2 trophies impossible to achieve. I got the platinum Thursday, when I visited my sister who has a HD-TV, which is what I needed for the platinum! The platinum was also my 2000th trophy! I had planned on that happening by the way.

Wow, 5 months or so since my last blog! Currently working on Killzone 2 Elite, brutal at two missions, which are the 2 I've left ): I'll hopefully pass 'em, somehow... That's all for me, I'll try and update a bit earlier next time, haha (: And here's my trophy card: (Level 16, 36%)

MW3 Platinum!

Before I get into it, here's a rundown of the plat's I've got since inFamous.

#22. God of War: Chains of Olympus:The 1st of the Origins Collection, a decent game for a PSP port. The combat was pretty much the same but the story was great. It was also one of my fastest platinum's, pretty sure it took me just 2 day's!

#23. DiRT 2: A great off-road rally game, I spaced this game out over a few years. Spent a lot of time on it in mid-2010 and only had some online trophies left for the platinum. I eventually got 'em in about 20 hours or so of online game-time!

#24. God of War: Ghost of Sparta: The 2nd of the Oirgins Collection, better than the first in many ways with a longer campaign. The difficulty was a big higher but managed to get through it. A bit of grinding was needed after the campaign, but still a pretty fast and easy plat!

#25. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit: My brother basically made me play this one evening, and I really got into it. Within a week I had every race and cop event golded and just had to grind to level 20 on each. The best NFS since Most Wanted, kept me hooked and would've played more if I had the game bought new!

#26. Dead Space: The first game I've ever played in the Survival Horror genre... a pretty good game that was very intense on Impossible difficulty. Story was easy to follow and was a easy game to get the plat in!

#27. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception: As my PSN name suggests, I'm a pretty big Uncharted fan. UC2 is still the best for me, I was kind of disappointed in UC3 but it was still a great game nonetheless. The Desert was great and the story was decent. It was tough on Crushing at some points but made it through! Still have the game and will get into online eventually!

Now for the main part of the blog, my MW3 Platinum trophy, 'All In'. My first platinum of the year and 28th overall. Started off the campaign on Veteran and had it beat the day I got it. Nothing too brilliant, a short and easy campaign. I moved onto Survival Mode after this, which was really, really fun at the start. Nearing to about level 45 onwards it got pretty boring, but once I started getting to round 15 on each map with my friend BioshockChicken it was fun again! Once I had every trophy I moved onto Spec Ops. I did all but 3 missions on my own! I needed help with Smack Town and once again Bioshock helped me with the 2 co-op ones! We then played through basically every other mission for him, with Smack Town being the most brutal! An enjoyable platinum, but the CoD series really is getting boring. After spending so much time at CoD: MW2, the online just doesn't feel as fun and hasn't got me addicted!

= 'All In', MW3's Platinum Trophy!

Now, I'm back to Final Fantasy XIII and hoping to finish off this game before FFXIII-2 comes out! A lot more grinding for me and a few more mission marks and I have the platinum! That's all for this blog, you probably won't be hearing from me for a good while, add me on PSN if you haven't! (:

1,500 Trophies!

Haven't blogged in nearly 2 months, just letting you guys know I'm still here, just not really active! So yeah, I hit 1,500 trophies a day or 2 ago... I will probably slow down next year with the whole trophy business... been playing a lot of Dead Space lately and also got Batman: Arkham Asylum, excellent game can't wait to get into full swing with it once I finish off Dead Space! Jak Collection was announced a while back, I'm really looking forward to it! One of my favourite seriers from the PS2.. MGS HD Collection was delayed here until Feb, so that's another game I shall be getting! School's grand, have a few tests coming up but there not really important.. So anyway, that's all I gotta say really.. might blog over Christmas holidays or something, getting them on the 22nd.. can't wait for them! Bye you guys...!

>>> 89%, almost level 15!!

inFamous Platinum!

Back in 2010 I played this game for about an hour or so and got bored, and hadn't touched it since. I booted it back up about 2 weeks ago, beating the game twice and getting the trophies per each playthrough... I decided to go through and try and find all of the Blast Shards and ended up with 349/350.. man was this annoying! I didn't want to go around all again just for one, so I started the game all over again and used a map from scratch, and ended up getting all the Blast Shards... then the platinum popped! I was pretty happy, knowing that I actually collected all 350 within 3 or so days! Anyway, here's a link to my YGC profile : Link.

And here's the trophy Card:

I've also started to get back into DiRT 2.Not too many people on it, need to reach level 30 (level 15 now), take part in 4 tournaments (took part in 2 so far) and play every mode, only 1 left but I may have to boost it because no-one seems to play it...

God of War III Platinum!

Back in mid-2010 I beat this game, but never really attempted to platinum it. I started up this game again after finishing Spec Ops with Tarik, who I asked what game I should try and platinum next, he said either inFamous or God of War III, so I chose God of War. I started it on Titan, getting 3 easy bronze trophies out of the way (all combat related). On this playthrough I was getting all the collectibles- 46 in total. I managed to get 'em all with the help of a guide. Then, I had the pleasure of beating the Labyrinth without Dying or Failing... this was a b**** on Titan! The last battle dragged on for ages and was very difficult, but I managed to pass it! (: After that I upgraded all my weapons for yet another trophy, then all I had to do was play through the rest of the game and beat it, but it was very tough! One battle took me around 10 or 15 tries to finally beat it, and the final boss was pretty difficult! i now had beaten the game on Titan! All I had left to do was Beat the Challenge of Olympus, which proved very easy, even at 1 in the morning! That makes platinum #20 for me, not an easy platinum but nothing to hard either! (:

Sly 3 Platinum!

For the last 2 days I've been playing this for a good bit of the day, completing episodes and the challenges associated with the episodes to try and hit 100% game completion. The last challenge proved pretty difficult but I passed if after about 5 goes or so. So yeah, this is my 19th platinum. (: Schools starting on the 1st of September, I honestly don't like school, mainly because of the times it starts and how early I have to get up, and how late I am back home. -.-

Tekken 6 Platinum!

Well, a year ago I gave up on this platinum because of a stage in Scenario Mode that I could not beat. I decided to give it another go and with the help of my friend Han, managed to get good items which made the process much easier, big thanks to him! Well I passed that stage and got 3 trophys, only had 2 left then. I had to beat this Extra Boss, which I also could never do, and passed it on my first going using a cheap method. Now I had only one lef, Gallery Completionist. This required some grinding and when I had it all done, no trophy. I went back into the game and played some Arcade Mode, and as soon as I beat the first dude, the trophy popped. Weird, huh? Anyway, I won't complain, platinum #17 now. (: I also renewed my first account that I made some time ago. Me and my brother just use it as a MW2 account now. If you want to add the PSN ID is: Keith1927

Here's the trophy card as proof!

Dead Nation Platinum!

Yes! I got it! Not so much a difficult platinum, just a bit of grinding involved finding 100% of the loot, and the 53,596 kills! Morbid wasn't tood hard, no part actually had me stuck and I just breezed through it. This game is really fun, pity the co-op function is so picky, never was able to find a game and actually stayed connected. I had to resort to playing through the game with 2 controllers on Braindead. That's platinum number 16 for me, I really need to stop! That's all, here's the old trophy card as proof. (:

Working On Dead Nation Platinum!

Hey guys, I'm getting pretty close to achieving the Dead Nation platinum! I'm currently playing through the game on Morbid difficulty, it's been pretty easy so far, only died 2 times on one part because of silly mistakes and not really concentrating! Finished 6 missions so far, 4 left! Should be finished tomorrow or Tuesday. Then, I got to finish a mission on Undead, which is the hardest difficulty, shouldn't be a problem. I'm also getting close to 53,596 kills, at 38k at the moment. Should be about 45k by the time I'm done the campaign on Morbid. Then, all I gotta do is find all the loot, which will be pretty annoying, one mistake and you have to start the whole mission again. You have to get 100% in one go, not through multiple playthroughs, which kinda sucks. I've played at total of 16 hours so far, should have it in less than 30 hours anyway!

I also got the Sly Trilogy for 15 euros. Pretty good, since you get three games in one, with a minigame section aswel. I already got the platinum in Sly 1, which was incredibly easy, took me a day to get it. It's a pretty good game, a bit short and the minigames at the end get pretty annoying. I also got 100% in the Sly Minigames, which were also simple. Took me about 10 minutes in total! I'll take a break from Sly until I platinum Dead Nation! (:

Summer has been pretty boring so far, a few festivals coming up in August, should be good fun! (: I also traded in Enslaved: Odyssey To The West, pretty good game, little to easy and plays itself, but was a fun game while it lasted! I kept onto Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, as I'll help out my good friend tarikm92f when he's ready! And here's my trophy card:

Enslaved: Odyssey To The West Platinum!

Hey, how's everyone? I haven't made a blog in well over a month so while I'm sitting here bored, I have decided to make one. Just before going to a match I managed to get the platinum. The last trophy I needed was "Tech Curator", which was to find all the tech orbs, kind of simaliar to the feathers in AC2 and the Blast Shards in inFamous. Luckily, there was a guide on youtube and that helped me. I only had literally 1 orb to find, and managed to stumble accross it pretty quickly, luckily for me. Anyway, here's my trophy card:
