The new Tomb Raider game is amazing. It was released just afew days ago and is truly a masterpiece. I will admit I was a little worried that it would not be a good game because I am usually not a fan of "Reboots", especially when they change a lot of key elements from the story. However as a game, this is wildly entertaining, I have not tried the multiplayer but the single player is very great. I will admit that I miss the flips, handstands, and swan dives that are famous from the series, but it is an interesting aproach. The graphics are top notch, you get progressivley dirty from the mud, and cleaned by the rain. The combat system was improved over Tomb Raider: Underworld. I have not reviewed it yet because I still didn't pass it, but I can tell this is a game you will be able to play for a while. There is an upgrading system where you can gain skills and upgrade your equipment. There are tons of collectibles to be found and a pretty big map to explore. Overall, if you are a Tomb Raider fan, or an action game fan, I would definately recommend you check this out.

I really want Skyrim, but I feel like I should wait on buying it because I bough Oblivion, Fallout 3, and New Vegas on release date and Fallout 3 and Oblivion both had Goty editions that came with all of the DLC. I feel like it would be a ripoff if I buy it for $60 and then pay $10 for every DLC, when I could get the complete set for $60. I hope they make a Goty edition, they havent announced anything yet, but Im assuming around Christmas or next year they will have one. Is anyone else waiting for the Goty edition?

I know this is late to be getting a PS3 but I figured it was worth it for the blue ray player, free online, and exlusive games. I bought the Infamous 2 bundle at Gamestop for $300. This came with Infamous 2 and a 320 gb PS3.

The PS3 controller is similar to the PS2 and Xbox 360controller although I think I prefer the Xbox 360 controller. I was disapointed that thePS3 did not come with an HDMI cable. I prefer the 360 dashboard over the PS3 dashboard. I was also disapointed that the new PS3 can not play PS2 games.

However I am happy about the size of the new PS3. It is 2/3 the size of my Xbox. I just have to go to buy an HDMI cable and some PS3 exclusives, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Killzone 2 are on my list. I currently have Little Big Planet and Infamous 2 which I got for free. The PS3 is well worth the $300, but not the $600 it originally sold for. Im glad I waited on it, the 360 is a much better system for gaming in my opinion.

I can't wait for Crysis 2. This is going to be the next game I get.The first Crysis was amazing. Im probably going to get this one on360 though because of xbox live, friends, and achievements. I dont think that the 360 version will be lacking anything, just maybe minor graphics differences. Besides, as strange as it seems, I may actually prefer controllers to keyboard and mouse. I used to love keyboard and mouse when I wasonly a PC gamer. I still need a keyboard and mouse for StarCraft, Quake III, and the PC games Iused to play. RTS gamessimply dont work on consoles in my opinion. However, Im getting off topic. Crysis 2 is going to be great. I played the Multiplayer demo and it was awsome. I also heard it is in New York which is awsome because I can play in my city.

Guitar Hero become one of the most famous, influential games. I give it some credit for reviving rock and metal, and making music games popular. It encouraged a lot of people to learn guitar, and start bands. It was a really big game. At first I loved it. I had Guitar Hero Rocks the 80's on PS2 which was a really fun game, especially to play with other people. Then I played Guitar Hero 2. Guitar Hero 3 was taken over by a new company. I was worried, but in my opinion, Guitar Hero 3 was the best in the series. Guitar Hero 3 introduced me to Dragonforce, which later got me into Prog Metal. I have to thank Guitar Hero for a lot of these things. However, when World Tour came out, I felt Guitar Hero died. I did not buy anymore Guitar Hero games after that. In fact, I completely abandoned Guitar Hero. I started playing real guitar which is a lot better in my opinion. I havent touched a fake, guitar controller, since World Tour. I never really got into Rockband either. But I think we can all agree Guitar Hero had a big impact on society. Now its gone for good. If you ask me it is about time. After Guitar Hero 3, many guitar hero games were released and I simply lost track. When companies overproduce sequels, you know there coming to an end. This happens all the time with movies. I just had to pay my respects to a game I used to play, although I lost most of my respect for it.

R.I.P. Guitar Hero

When Bioshock first came out, it was considered one of the greatest games. It was the "genetically enhanced shooter." I love science fiction and fps so what could be better then that. Alsoit got ridiculously good ratings. I bought Bioshock 1, I hated it. Then, last year, for Christmas I was given Bioshock 2. I was going to trade it in. But when they told me that they dont give full money for a brand new, unopened game, I decided to just play it. To my suprise, Bioshock 2 is alot better then the first one. The online is great, even the single player is more fun. I like Bioshock 2 a lot more then the first one. It seems weird because everyone says the games are really similar. For some reason I cant play the first one, but I love the second one.

I just saw inception. It was a really good movie, but it did not live up to my expectations. People were telling me that it was really confusing, and really hard to understand. The movie made perfect sense too me. I was not thinking hard about what was real and what was fake. However, it was a really good movie and I really liked it. This movie was compared to the Matrix, which is one of my favorite movies, but I did not see to many similarities. The matrix was more straightforeward. Inception was more like Total Recall, or Vanilla Sky. I love all of those movies, and Inception was good. However if you think its really gonna twist your mind, your out of luck. Its a good movie, just not how I imagined it would be.

If you havent heard of Lawson Rollins you should definately look him up. He plays flamenco and latin jazz. He is really good, one of the best guitarist I have ever heard. Also if you play guitar, you can get his tabs if you buy his song on itunes or something like that.

I havent been on Gamespot in a long time. I started playing guitar intensively for a while, and I didnt even play to many videogames. I learned a bunch of songs, but then for Christmas I got some video games. I got AC: Brotherhood, Fallout New Vegas, and Fable III. Fable III is kind of weird, but its good. Then there is Assassins Creed Brotherhood. I love all the Assassins Creed games, Brotherhood has some cool new things in it. I like the survival modes they added. Fallout New Vegas was really impressing. I loved Fallout 3. But I heard a lot of bad reviews for New Vegas. I would say New Vegas was amazing. There are so many choices. I already played through it twice. Hardcore mode is the new thing they added, and it is amazing. I like the map for New Vegas. I love all of the new factions. Caesars Legion is really cool. They also added a reputation system. You get a reputation in each faction/town and they react to it. There are so many ways to play through it, and there are a lot of casinos, neon signs, etc.They increased the level cap to 30and made the perks everyother level, which I though was great. I think they improved a lot on Fallout 3, not that there was much to improve on.Overall, I think that New Vegas should have got some award or special recognition. If you havent played it, you should definately get it.It will last youa while.Like I said there are many options, I think there areover 100endings which is really cool. Also, you dont start off in a boring vault so you get to scip all of that boring stuff.New Vegas is probably my favorite game of 2010.

Now lets talk about the new year, I am looking foreward to Gears of War 3, and the new Elder Scrolls the most. Oblivion, is one of the best games of all time in my opinion. I cant wait to hear more about it.There are a bunch of games coming out this year that looks great. Marvel vs Capcom 3 is coming out, I love the Marvel vs Capcom games. The new Deus Ex is coming out. I am a big fan of stealth games. Also, the people making Deus Ex are the same people making Thief 4, and I want to see how that turns out. The newMortal Kombat also looks promising. Im a little scared though because I got MKvs DC for $60 and it is one of the worst fighting games I ever played. Hopefullythe new MK will be a lot better. Lastly, there is the new True Crime coming out. I used to love theTrue Crime games. I forgotabout them for a while but before 360, I used to love playing TC Streets of LA on PS2 and then TC New York City on xbox.I am also looking foreward to buying an electric guitar. I have high expectations for this year. There is a lot going on. Happy (late)new year everyone!!!

I just tried Crysis. The original one. I meant to try it a while ago but I never got to it. Now that the sequel is coming out I thought I would give it a try. It is great. However it wasn't running as smooth as I would of liked. I am thinking that is due to a compatability problem with Windows 7. I have to say, windows 7 really pissed me off. It only lets me play a few games. Luckily I can still play StarCraft.

I am not sure about what the requirements will be for Crysis 2 so I might be getting it on 360. However, I was impressed with Crysis. I was looking foreward to destroying stuff but apparently that starts in Crysis Warhead. However, the powers are pretty cool. I used mainly stealth and strength. The armor power is not what I expected though. However It is a good game and I suggest you try it if you havent already. One of the best shooters I have played.

Unfortunately I am borrowing the game from a friend so I will have to give it back tuesday. I dont think I will finish it but I do plan on buying the entire set. The levels are very, big. Its like an entire country. Also the borders are not that cheesy. Ther is a barricade of war ships and sharks. I like the vehicles in the game as well.
