Absolutely ecstatic about these games. No denying G/S were the pinnacle of the series and I say that as a huge Pokemon fan (I think Ruby/Saphire/Diamond/Pearl and their companion games were all high quality)

Baten Kaitos.  I spent $20 on it, so I know I should finish it, but I just don't find it that fun.  I only have a certain amount of hours per day, and I would rather waste them on worthwile games.yakk_3

Same here. I was looking for a game after Tales of Symphonia to play and I bought Baten Kaitos. Played for a week maybe and got stuck at some point and it just got tedious and not fun.
