Definitely a good choice. I want to create the ultimate poll for the greatest playable video game character a so I'm pretty much just test running this one and seeing what people add and seeing what kind of general consensus I can come up with. Hopefully more people will take this poll so we can all put in our opinions for the best VG character ever.
My opinion is Solid Snake because of the overall depth of the background you are given about him and that he just generally a badass. I cried at the end of MGS because I was pulled in so much by his character. I also cried after the first tanker mission in SOL because I thought he had died. Snake is not just my favorite game character, I truly believe he is the greatest.
