THERE ARE 3 CONSOLES OUT THERE WHO HAVE BEEN IN A FIGHT 4 DOMINANCE EVER SINCE THEY WERE RELEASED.

I am not a 360 fan boy NOR am i a Wii or PS3 fanboy, but in the long run, i think that only one console can win while the othertwo have 2 hope that the next generation of videogame consoles will mean they will be on top

OKAY STARTING WITH THE NINTENDO Wii:

we all know it, and probably half of Japan owns it, but does that mean that this console is suitable 4 gamers?

PROS:

• the nintendo Wii offersa new way 2 play videogames, and 4 the most part, its pretty fun
• the Wii is the first to successfullyincorperate motion controlsinto its videogames
• nintendo has a long line of franchises who covers a wide area of gaming entertainment genres, whether thegame is racing, fighting, sports, WHATEVER! (and im referring to Mario,but there a lot of other franchises too)
• the Wiiis "family friendly" so basically, the whole family can have fun
• the Wii has more sales worldwide than the 360 and PS3 sales worldwide COMBINED!
• there is a large library of kid friendly games
• THE Wii BALANCE BOARD
• Wii ware online store has a good number of new AND remade games

CONS:

• the Wii game library is filled with alarming amounts of crap and NOTgood games (but im not saying that there arent good Wii games)
• the Wiidoesnt have the graphic capabilities of the 360 and PS3!
• the Wii mote nunchuck combination doesnt have a second analog stick to control the camera in 3D games (but im not saying that all 3D Wii games suck bcuz of this issue)
• the Wii mote is not really sensative enough 4 successful motion control play
• online Wii games tend 2 lack a lot of useful features (LIKE TEXT CHAT!)
• Wii games seem 2 be less origional these days - Wii games just seem 2 be copys of their older selves (im talking to you animal crossing)

And now for the Playstation 3 by SONY:

PROS:

• the PS3 has a great reliability rate (which means, you are less likely 2 get a PS3 that has problems or that came from the store broken)
• no "RED RING OF DEATH" issue, but i guess this point falls under reliability
• there is NO cost 2 use PLAYSTATION NETWORK (free online play)
• the PS3 comes with a built-in wireless card, so u can connect 2 a wireless network without having 2 buy a wireless peice seperately
• PSN (playstation network) nowadays has basically THE EXACT SAME features as X-BOX online (and let me say this again - NO ONLINE COST)
• the PS3 has a respectable amount of good games (not many, but respectable)
• the controller doesnt require u 2 buy batteries OR buy a recharge station kit
• is more of a GAMER friendly console
• offers the best graphics from a console to date (which means, its first place)
• supports blu-ray movies
• games are made with blu-ray which means it comes with all the advantages of blu-ray disks

CONS:

• if u were only 2 count PS3 exclusive games, there are very few AT THE PRESENT MOMENT that are good (but shared games like GTA4 nd FALLOUT3 are still good)
• many game developers try 2 make more of an effort towards the 360 since the 360 has more costomers
• the PS3 is at the bottom at the list in sales
• the PS3 has a VERY low amount of good games out there, even when counting the multiplatform games
• the sixaxis SUCKS (its just too unresponsive)
• the PS3 is starting 2 lose exclusives like FINAL FANTASY XIII (and GTA series and devil may cry, ETC.)
• did NOT start off so well (had a lot of hype, so the launch was very good, but dissapointed the people who bought PS3 in the early start bcuz there were only around 10 games that werent all that good)
• blu-ray disks take up to 5gb to install some games (fallout 3, oblivion, ETC.)

next is the X-BOX360 (as in, 360 degrees, or a complete circle) by Microsoft:

PROS:

• A LARGE, AND I MEAN LARGE, SELECTION OF GAMES
• u can expect that most of the PS3 games that come out, will be available on the 360
• x-box live has many features and microsoft tries its best to satisfy the players
• more of a gamer and NOT family console
• has its own line of exclusives (not many exclusives, but they are still there)
• it is second place in total sales world wide
• starting 2 become popular in Japan (starting.........)
• game developers tend to favor the 360 bcuz of it's dominance in sales when it comes to the USA (like, for example, GTA4 and Fallout 3 are from both the PS3 and 360, but when those two titles come out with expansion packs, only the 360 copies of those games will be able 2 download those expansion packs)
• most comfortable controller
• started off well (when released, it had success)

CONS:

• THE RED RING OF DEATH (i already had 2 replace a 360 bcuz of that. Some people argue that the new 360's that are being made dont get the red ring, but i have friends that bought 360's recently and has had red ring problems - TIP: DONT LET UR 360 OVERHEAT, thats what causes the red ring)
• the graphic capabilities of the 360 is comes in 2nd place behind the PS3
• if u want 2 connect your 360 2 a wireless network, then you have 2 buy a seperate piecethat will cost from $70 dollars to $120 dollars (depends which wireless peice and where u choose 2 buy it)
• X-BOX live costs $50 dollars per month ( or per year, i 4get which)
• it might be cheaper than the PS3, but it doesnt come with good reliability and free online OR rechargeable controllers)
• no rechargeable controllers
• does not play blu-ray disks (unless u buy a seperate blu-ray player piece) and games are made without the benefit of blu-ray disks

NOW THE DESCISION IS UP 2 U

in my opinion, i think i might favor the PS3 by a tad bit, but that doesnt stop me from loving the 360 and Wii as well
