I'm thinking it may get a 10 from Gamespot, actually. They've been pretty high on the game for a while and I've seen nothing to suggest it isn't every bit as good as advertised. I'm betting it gets a 9.6 on IGN.
Yeah, I gotta say that I had ridiculously high expectations for this game, and the demo does not disappoint. I've never felt more "in the game". There's such a palpable since of tension. I can't wait until next week.
I echo the sentiments of most posters on this thread. I can't wait to play this game, and I'm torn between wanting to keep the surprises intact while still wanting to devour all of the coverage about the game. It looks amazing.

Because some people don't have 720p available on their sets, but they do have 1080i. And from most reports I've read, 720p and 1080i are pretty similar, except for that 720p is better for watching sports and gaming (and from what I've heard, not a ton better). Why wouldn't Sony want to treat all of their customers by supporting 1080i in all games?

I don't think it comes with the "base", or bass if you're interested in spelling correctly. My understanding is it comes with 1 guitar, the drums, and the mic. The bass is played with the same peripheral as the guitar, but I believe you only get one to start.
I thought the PS3 fixed the upscaling to 1080i issue with one of the updates. Am I wrong about this? My tv only supports 1080i and 480p as well. I know the PS3 scaled God of War to 1080i when I played it recently.
