And all I can say...is wow. G.Rev really knows how to make a beautiful game. After seeing Border Down running on NAOMI hardware, I thought that it could be pushed no harder. Jesus, I was wrong. The game has officially been classified as a 'taisen action shooting game', and seems to be sporting some strange controls for a shooter:

A - Shield
A+Lever - Dash
B or C - Shot
B+C - Special Shot
when the power gauge is at max A+B+C - Boss mode
when the power gauge is at max A+B+C+life at zero - VANISH (final boss mode)


Needless to say I'm curious as to what the last two mean (life at zero? huh?), but also needless to say, I can't wait to play this game.

Taito's new arcade hardware, 'Type X'...is looking really nice right now. Guess whose pledged support already:
