Seriously people, its time that everyone comes out of the shadows and see the light. Vista is the future. A major gaming platform, a major operating system, and a major 'must have' if you want to use your PC for the next couple of years. Vista has improved a lot, I have seen "Longhorn" and believe me that Vista is an entire new league. You just have to try it to get an idea of it being a superior OS than any other in the world. Sadly though, it requires a beefy rig to run games. Like to get a stable DX10 experience, you'll probably need: Intel Core 2 Xtreme CPU 2GB DDR2 800Mhz Ram 300GB Sata II Hard Drive (at least) GeForce 8800GTX/GTS (the only DX10 GPU available) Now upgrading all that means that you are almost upgrading your entire PC, which is a little expensive. So one should opt to get a next-gen Console now and upgrade to vista later when there are more GPU choices available.
