@maverickaw1014: It was Luke's mission to take care of the emperor. The fact that Vader killed the emperor for him doesn't change that. It's because of Luke if Vader did this. So Luke did complete is mission and became a war hero... at least what we thought until now. This is, in part (many other things bother me with this flick), why I'm so disappointed.
I'm really disappointed by the sequels as a whole. This one had some real ground to cover to make me like these sequels. For me, they continued to undermine Luke's greatness. The Last Jedi turned Luke into a biter old man that turned his back on his friends and family (not very hero like). And now, after this movie he's no longer the hero who saved the republic. He's now the guy who failed his mission to get rid of the evil dictator. I'm having a real hard time swallowing that.
@gamer112696: I play with my Rift more than my Xbox One. So freaking cool. I've put more than 200 hrs in Fallout 4 VR alone. An older game that was not designed for VR, and it's still amazing to play. Too bad MS is skipping the tech.
I was so hoping they would offer VR on the next gen. Saying that nobody is asking for it is a lie. Even if I'm no fan of Sony's PS, I commend them for jumping into VR an offering it to their fans. I've own an Oculus Rift for more than a year now and just love it. I actually play with it more than my Xbox One. Microsoft not jumping in this train is a huge disappointment for me. I think they are just too afraid after the Kinect failure. The PS5 will most likely become my next gen choice for that reason. Sony certainly has the budget to make great AAA VR games.
@phili878: I love my VR. It's been a year now and I play with it all the time (Fallout 4 on it is awesome). Can't wait to try the VR version of the game. Sorry you didn't enjoy your VR experiences.
