Go get Valkyria Chronicles if you like strategy games - its like the most underrated game on the market ...

Guys I cant thank you enough for all the input and forgiveness you are all willing to give :D Going now after this post to pick up an 80gb PS3, LBP, Infamous, KZ2, and MGS4 (god im not going to have a life for a while now!). See u all on PSN!!!!

ok so Infamous, Noby Noby????!!!??? (wtf), and MGS4, may have to do some research on Noby, is there a demo of it? Also Im going to take a chance on KZ2 im sure it cant be a let down, I mean just look at it :shock: !!! also thanks to all the input so far. not to start a system war but if you own a 360 beware of your death date when it comes to buying games (9 games I have to trade in, 4 havent even scratched the surfice on).

yeah i dont blame you, i jump ship and now i come crawling back for forgiveness........ive seen the errors in my ways........just wanna make a wise first purchase in games despite the hype or game reviews, looking for people who have actually played the games to recommend them as well.

3rd 360 just died on me, coming back to the darkside for GOOOOD. Very interested in Killzone 2 but how is multiplayer (as far as balance, fun, longevity). Also I know I will miss XBL but its not worth it if I cannot enjoy it without fearing my systems downfall, so has the PSN improved as far as friend networking, chatting, etc. Any other games would be helpfull as far as ones I should pick up (been away for almost a year now) when I get another PS3 tommorrow.

there is no need to try and convince those who are persistent in believing one way. I truely gave the ps3 a chance and wanted my 360 to fail horribly in sales, performance, games, etc. The quality of games (even though some were also on ps3) were just better, no fanboyism there even the strongest sony fan can admit that if they gave it a chance. The thing that kept me from selling the PS3 earlier was the hope to use HOME (which was constantly delayed), FFXIII (which will be on 360), Assassins creed (boring on both systems IMO), Killzone 2 (which should be great but not willing to wait), and Resistance 2 (same as killzone 2).

Ive said it before, I will probably miss my ps3 later once I realize how convenient it was to power it on and browse the web without having to actually use my PC. Waiting for new cool updates, and wanting to run through MGS4 again (which by the way was the BEST DAMN game ive EVER played in my life, story was exceptionally well done, no game compares to this). But that is about it. From a value standpoint right now, the PS3 is just not truely worth it for gaming alone in all genres, only select genres and for other use. 360 I see is just primarily gaming and thats just what IM INTO as a whole!

Those who blindly defend the PS3 have a good reason and I dont blame them for doing so no matter how ignorant the comments are, they shelled out 400 to 600 bucks on this unit with much hope and now they have to constantly wait and hope for the day Sony will take the lead gaining more console exclusives, less ports, less lazy devs, and the power to rule the world (j/k). It will happen ONE DAY but on that one day the PS3 should be cheaper, save your money for now!!!!!

No need to get mad at TC for voicing his opinion which is partially fact!! I am a Former Owner of the original 60gb ps3, stood in line which much anticipation. I also Own a 360 (on second one now). I can TRUELY tell you that the PS3 is not what it was hyped up to be YET! It has MASSIVE potential but I dont buy these "investments" for potential, hell I can buy stock for that! I bought the PS3 to GAME and have the BEST GAMING experience out of the three consoles. That unfortunately didnt happen simply because the games (partially developers fault) were lackluster on the PS3 and pollished on the 360 (graphics and features).

Simply put people, you can stay in denial all you want, you can read my previous posts in which i personally tried to justify the greatness of the PS3. But deep down inside you have to admit the future looks dim for the PS3 given the history and current trend of the system. Not trolling but I am relieved that I returned it after a year to best buy and recieved full value of the unit.
