Bahhhh! I hate you Gamespot, rright when I finished writing my blog and clicked post, it said, "error", and now I have to rewrite the whole thing! :L :L :l
Well, I haven't written a blog in a while, what with school work and Demons Souls (~-- Woot!). I plan on writing about Demons Souls soon, but I have alot to say, so I will let it wait for a while longer. Demon's Souls is oustanding, and I already have 40 painful (yet rewarding) hours invested in it.
So moving on: I got the movie Final Fantasy: Advent Children, which is based on the game FFVII. The movie is awesome: it looks gorgeous in Blu-Ray, and the action is over-the-top fun. Anyways, when a bunch of the characters are getting together (Yuffiew, Cloud, Tiffa, Sid), one of them-a cat with an irish accent-is introduced as "Cait Sith". As soon as I heard that name, I knew I had heard it elsewhere before, I just wasn't sure where. It really bothered me for about an hour, before it dawned on me. A quick google search confirmed my thoughts, Cait Sith is also a demon you can summon in Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. And guess what? He is a cat as well!

That confused me, as I had never known Atlus and Square Enix to ever have worked on a project together, so I did a little more digging. Turns out "Cait Sith" means "Fairy Cat" in Japanese-and better yet-that Cait Sith originally came from Irish Scottish folklore, where it was the inspiration for Puss-In-Boots! How cool is that? According to the inter-webs, Cait Sith...
"...can converse in human tongues and walk on two legs, making no sound as it moves. It normally lives as a cat that travels back and forth between the Cat Kingdom and the human world. It has a white star-shaped mark on its chest."
How cool is that? Maybe it is just me, but that made my day! Hope it made yours. :)
Oh, and just in case it didn't:

Still didn't make your day? Fine, I bring out my final weapon...and outrageous an amusing remix of the Lucky Star theme song:
