Never played the first so notall that sure of the differences between the twobut the answer seems pretty obvious - get the second - more people still play that than the first.

Looking to buy a tactical shooter - should I go for Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising or Rainbow 6: Vegas 2? (or something else I may not be aware of)

Used to keep all my games when I was younger -now Isell or trade in most of them, justkeep a few 'special games' like Mass Effect & Bioshock -sort of a pride thing. But, just sold a load of PS2 games a couple of months back for tuppence after realising they'd just been sat in my mums house collecting dust for years -including one of my favourite games ever; Final Fantasy X, for only a few quid, but seeing as I was never ever going to play it again, getting anything at all from it was above 'value' innit.

Rarely ever buy games on release date anyway - most of my games tend to be second hand - so I suppose ye, I trade my games in because I couldn't play even half as many games if other people didn't do so also.

I've got 1600 points to spend. My options are.... Minerva's Den and Perfect Dark, or... Banjo Kazooie (I've never played BK before) and the Mass Effect 2 weapon and armour packs, or Sonic 4 and the Mass Effect 2 stuff What do you think?x-2tha-z

The Mass Effect 2 weapon and armour packs strike me as a waste of points - definitely get the extra mission DLC if you haven't already though(as the person above has already said - Kasumi & Overlord are 400 each this week) - but I wouldn't bother with the weapon packs, buy yourself something you can actually play - Perfect Dark is great, don't know about the other three you've mentioned though.

I have a Buy 2 Get 1 Coupon from GameSto and I know the first two games I want to get are Batman: Arkham Asylum and X-Men Origins, Wolverine, but I'm suck on the third one. Should I make my free game Battlefield: Bad Company 1 or Mass Effect 1?Obiwan456

Mass Effect. Never ever played Battlefield: BC tbh but I recommend Mass Effect and its sequel to anyone. Awesome games.

And Fallout as well, the game would be much better if in real time (no vats or whatever) and if the people you met had a sense of meaning there are too many pointless people / side missions to make one stick out from another

You what?! vats was possibly the best thing in the game. Dislking Fallout 3 because you would have prefered it to be a completely different type of game to what it was strikes me as a bit odd.... but seeing as this thread isn't really for debate, fair enough.....

[QUOTE="KiLLa187ScriLLa"][QUOTE="Vacant00"]Should I buy Final Fantasy XIII or Lost Odyssey? Final Fantasy X was one of my favourite games ever. Lost Odyssey being similar and retaining the strategy of turn-based battle really appeals to me but Final Fantasy XIII is the new Final Fantasy! (to put it simply) Below is a very brief list of things that are currently stopping me from commiting myself to either game atm. Can anybody help me decide which one to go for by addressing some of my concerns (either positively or negatively)? -------------------------------- FFXIII Concerns) 1) The new battle system. Have heard a lot of people say it consists of little more than bashing the A button over and over. Lost Odyssey Concerns) 1) Its well over 2 years old now, has it dated? 2) How much of a grind is this game? With regards to the random battles really - not sure I can be arsed with the slog.

I personally didnt like it, the leveling up system is kind of stupid imo, and the story really isnt that amazing but im sure others liked it so maybe watch a few review videos. Oyeah and the battle system is terrible

Thanks - but, err... which game are you talking about?

Should I buy Final Fantasy or Lost Odyssey? I know that they're both cheap now but I only have the time to play one really (before anybody suggests both). --- Final Fantasy X was one of my favourite games ever. Lost Odyssey being similar and retaining the strategy of turn-based battle really appeals to me but Final Fantasy XIII is the new Final Fantasy! (to put it simply). I know it looks beautiful and has great characters/story but its gotten mixed reviews. Below is a very brief list of things that are currently stopping me from commiting myself to either game atm. So, can anybody help me decide by addressing said concerns (either positively or negatively)? ------------------------------ FFXIII Concerns) 1) The new battle system. Have heard a lot of people say it consists of little more than bashing the A button over and over. Oblivion - mind you, I did only play for the first time last summer, but still, I just couldn't get into it. Felt really, really dated and there seemed to be so little in so much empty space. Also; Red Faction: Guerella - have no idea how it got such great reviews and why so many people think its so much fun. If it wasn't for the destructability it would be an absolutely awful game - and even blowing things up wasn't 'that' much fun. Complete lack of story, repetitive gameplay, overly aggressive AI and again, so little in so much empty space.
