Well, this is my first blog. I don't know if anyone will read it, but i don't mind. It's good just getting feelings out, in a way.
But anyway, I suppose I'll start on those ignorant to the R18+ issue in Australia. It's really appalling to see how many people go against what's in their best interests. They somehow think that R18+ will allow pornography and virtual sex to be included in games. How very interesting. Isn't that X18+?
And apparently, every gamer is a pre-pubescent teenager who is extremely sadistic, and playing more video games adding to their already uncontrollable desire to kill and have kinky sadist sex. Shows you what I know. I swear the average age of the Australian gamer was around 30.
It really amazes me that this kind of thinking is still around, in this day and age. We're supposedly no longer a society that bases things on irrationality, along with outdated religious fears and intolerance. I can maybe understand why the older generation is hesitant (as seen through Michael Atkinson, who has thankfully stepped down), but to see comments coming from the younger generation, it makes me sad. */wrist*
Maybe people should research things they are arguing against a little further, yeah? And not blindly follow the person in front of you? OK? Good.
Anyway, that's it.
Oh wait, I remembered something. I find shambling zombies far more frightening than running zombies. I think it's because of the whole slow approach of death thing.
Now I'm done, bye.
