Thanks for the help Marcthpro! I can't wait to help Alex put his computer together! It will be just like the old times when I was putting mine together.

Alex ordered all the parts so now we are waiting for them. As soon as we get them I will help him put it together.

Yea we thought about microcenter but we got lazy because thats about 45 minutes away. If microcenter has the i5 2500k for 179.99 that would be awesome it would save alex some money. Thanks for the advice Autopiloton!

Here is the PSU I found that might work for him. He is not going to be doing anything major like crossfire, SLI or overclocking. Let me know what you guys think?

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 650W

so now the only thing he needs is a video card. The one I bought a while ago they dont have it anymore. Can you guys give him some suggestions on what video card he should get?

Oh I forgot to post 3 more images. On the way out of Micro Center I saw this huge sign and here what was on it. Let me know if these are any good deals? I took those pictures with my phone. Sorry if the quality is poor. :)

edit: I'm going back to Micro Center tomorrow morning once again with my brother, maybe these are some super cool deals why not pick a set up lol. :)

I'm really confused lol. I'm all over the place, so many suggestions so many things to think about. To tell you the truth I'm lost I was thrown off by looking at other cpu's and mother boards.

I don't know where to start from anymore ahahaha. I guess I just need to concentrate on cpu, mother board, video card, and ram. I need to find a mother board that is compatible with the cpu and the ram and at the same time not go over my head. I think I am already over my head because if I don't stick to my budget I could end up spending a fortune lol.

So if I understood right I can stick two video cards in the mother board. See I want to build a computer that after putting it together I can play the video games I want right off the bat. So me jumping around looking at other stuff is just making me more confused. I was ready to buy everything couple of days ago and now I feel like I just started all over again lol.

I'm new to this so I guess I have an excuse lol. :P My first time learning what is really inside of a computer rofl... :) Since I started this post I've been learning a lot. There are still some things im little choppy about but I'm getting there. :D

Anyways back to the computer building topic:

I looked at some Mother Boards that support intel and they are pretty pricy. So that means I might even stick to the previous build I had and overclock the pcu and unlock the video card.

I'm a little worried that I can mess up my comp by doing something wrong. I don't know I got a lot to think about. If feel like I left something out, not sure lol. :P
