[QUOTE="obsolete2k1"]My 360 does Hd and so does my Wii, 480p.

480 is not HD it's ED(Enhanced-definition).
sheep think 480p is HD???
true.
PS3 is the only one that can do 1080p natively. GT5 will be 1080p @ 60 FPS. which will blow away PGR4s measly 720p @ 30 FPS. AND GT5 looks graphically better anyways. PGR4 = PWNED
Expect a God of War 3 by March 2009. I could bet money on it. I i predict an offical announcement/trailor either at GDC 08or E3 08 the latest.imapieceofwood
it will probably come out in the end of 08.
20 - 23 months is plenty of time to make it.
Since David Jaffe broke away from Sony to make his own game company I guess there will be no Gow3 or at least one made by Jaffe. Will it hurt Sony fans to see Jaffe make a game for the 360?
Flied_Lice
jaffe didn't make GOW2  Fail.
and jaffes next 3 games are sony - only.
and besides if he does make games on 360, they will be XBLA games.
but...the games vs sales scoring system... order.... NOOOOOo!
We'll have to think for ourselves now. Life, as we know it, is going to end. I feel a terrible activity in my mind, sort of like an annoying buzzing, and these silent voices...thoughts?
In all seriousness, yeah, why not? Japanese arcade games are a wonderful cross between twitchy-madness and the visions of the nuttiest nut in the asylum. They might not be scored - but that plane ticket to Japan might be a better investment than a current-gen console for some people. Rhythm gamers would be in absolute heaven in a Tokyo arcade.

but arcades don't have tracked sales nor do they have reviewed games!
how am i to tell if i am winning or losing!?!?!?!?
I think i will take advantage of this situation and say that Arcades have sold 1.5 Billion units, and all 30,000 games have scored a perfect 10/10.
who is going to prove me wrong???
[QUOTE="Valveknight"][QUOTE="goblaa"]Because everything that made the PS2 simple and awsome, is missing from the PS3...and that's just a giant let down.CrazyCarter
the thing that made ps2 awesome in comparison was the games that were exclusive to it.
PS3 is getting (eventually) MOST of it's big exclusive games from PS2, and lots of new games are announced for ps3 as well.
ps3 also has better and WAY LESS confusing online gaming support.
The only thing is this: It's expensive, the games that ARE coming to it, simply aren't here yet, and the online thing, while good isn't up to XBL standards yet.
RIGHT NOW the ps3 is not at the top of it's game at all. And that is what people are bashing. That's fine.
But if people think PS3 is going to be like this forever. :|.
Also, not that many people have one yet, so sony has time to fix the problems with it before the mainstream ca even think about affording one.
did you just say ps3 has better online that xbox 360? xbox live has always been superior. i think even cows know that xbox live pwns. if they don't they have a lot to learn.
than PS2
what we need to do is make an official thread WITHOUT a poll (easily hackable) stickied for several days, and make the rules similar to the hype threads.
the outcome should become official, and become part of the "debunking myths" thread.
