@grillingcoats: I am all for being progressive and stuff, but yeah, when you just label a character a certain thing just for the sake of trying to be that way, I don't get it. Labeling this character as trans will not change a damn thing about the story or interactions with said character, so what is the point? I don't get it... I wish people from the LGBT community would weight in on this, I doubt it makes any impact, at all.
@Thanatos2k: The price people are willing to pay for an item IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO ITS WORTH, take an econ class.
A controller with the quality and functionality this one provides is actually very fairly priced, if you knew anything about the subject, rather than just basing your opinion off of what you would or wouldn't pay.
@bogart3011: Might sound weird, but you've something to look forward to and he doesn't'. He's no more true friends or wants. Half of life is working for what we want and getting that satisfaction. It's gone for him. Be happy with what you got, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
I'm sorry but if you can't find ways to continue to find things to look forward to with the bankroll of 2 billion dollars to help you... you are just a selfish prick. As I said above, I would instantly start trying to help other people with investments and charity and volunteer work and the like, not sit at home and stare at a computer waiting for friends to come hang out.
I'm sorry but this guy's tweets sound like he is just a giant D-bag... if I didn't have to work hard to earn a living I would spend my "work time" making sure other people had a chance to earn a living and not having to beg in the streets and stuff not "hang out with other rich people and party with friends, or stare at myself in a monitor waiting for people that have to work to have time for stuff"... classic problem with most rich people. This guy, and this article churn my stomach.
@mike468: For the cost of 3 controllers, that's not even close to worth it.
go look and see what price people are paying for controllers with a little less functionality than the Elite controller has... it is close to 200 on average, and that is without multiple options for thumbsticks and d-pads... add about 40-50 bucks more for those... it is very worth it for people that are serious about competitive gaming. If you sit around playing Lego Movie Game with your 7 year old brother or kid then yeah... not worth it.
@skyhighgam3r: lolwut by my count, the x1 has 10 things that act like "buttons"... and that isn't even counting the d-pad... and the elite controller is a very different thing than a fightpad. Not sure what you are even complaining about, and how 2 more buttons would make a big difference to 99% of the games available on console.
