Learned three new languages, explored four different countries, ventured through shady slums, worked as a lawyer abroad, watched the Eurocup live from Madrid, hiked some of the world's largest mountains, took a few classes, went to a bunch of bars and met people...typical summer.

There is plenty of reason to engage in a discussion about beliefs! Granted, this only applies to people who have an educated belief structure and have been at it for a significant period of time. There are some unique beliefs out there that one would never have the privilege of know about were they not to engage in these discussions. And who can call themselves a true seeker of knowledge without having at least some passing familiarity with all the belief structures out there?

Chinese food. I am not talking about the Americanized Dim Sum/Hong Kong dishes that you find in America. I'm talking the mainland rural stuff like Hunan. Mmmmmmmm

Whoa whoa whoa; they're filing a tortuous claim of Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress over a bad grade? The law student in me just got all giggly inside with the thought of this. This is not entirely merit less.

It all depends on the price point for myself. If it starts out at 199, I'm in. There are enough games on the Wii that I never played because I traded it in early that would give me incentive.

[QUOTE="Vandalvideo"]Insane people will always be insane. I'd rather have the opportunity to have a force equalizer and deal with the potentiality of getting shot than being garroted or eviscerated by a knife or bludgeoned with a pipe. bigfoot2045

The idea that some private gun owner is going to take down a mass shooter is just silly. It's never happened. In this case it would have been literally impossible as the shooter was wearing head to toe body armor.

Even if you could take out a mass shooter, why would you want to? You'd be the one left holding a gun when the SWAT team arrives. In all of the confusion, you might even get blamed for the shooting.

A gun is a lot more useful against a body armoured opponent than a knife, thats for sure. At the very least one can use the gun to stun or disorient the shooter while you escape. I didn't say the force equalizer was to kill, merely a means to escape.

Admitting you're wrong and being wrong are two entirely different things. As soon as you can separate the two in your mind it is easy as crap to social engineer political structures. A little kowtowing gets you far in life.

[QUOTE="waltefmoney"]

Those guys are idiots.

"Look at how successful the Vita is, let's make a clone!"

GhoX
They aren't idiots. Because the government will ban PS Vita and promote this "Droid X360"'s growth instead. They did the same thing to facebook, youtube, the primary consoles, etc.

Uhhhh China hasn't banned the primary consoles. While living in Shanghai I could easily obtain any console I wanted. Heck I could even bargain for them! Got a PSP for 50 bucks. And the reason they banned Facebook and Youtube were not for competitive reasons (unlike what most QQ users would claim).
