In the past I have gotten games before they get release from "certain" stores, however I don't know if this holds true for consoles, does anyone have experience in this?

Can somone boot up their slim 360 and tell me if it buzzes like a muted saw? Is this normal?

I have my games installed (250G FTW) so only the initial read buzzes but after that it quiets down. I'd just like to know that it's normal

Please oh please can someone who also has a slim test this on their console? I may be too particular or I may have a bad slim. This is the issue:

As the new slim owners know, the disk tray now shoots out very fast. I noticed that on mine not only does it shoot out fast but towards the end of the slide it also zig zags crooked before comming to a stop. It seems like the motor vs the brake mechanism is poorly designed. I just hope this is natural. I don't want to go through the hassel of returning it.

Note I have it laying horizontally. Someone please turn on their system and let me know if the above also happens to them.

My question is I have system software 2.6, it has trophies on there, not unlocked but there's a trophy folder since I started with a clean slate but IS THERE a way I can revert back to the earlier update so that I don't have any trophies involvement at all?

I plan on playing GOW3 and KZ2 and I don't want to participate in trophies, not for these titles and not for any. Now if I do get an earlier firmware will trophies enabled games put them on my ID anyway?

I would like games to be fun and not about trophies, having it compels me to go for them (sometimes : )

Please note that I've tried to do a system reset and I choose not to be on PSN.
