Surprised not to see a nod to Minecraft, it's had great post launch support and massive sales, in addition to it just being a lot of fun in the first place. I know it didn't originate as an XBLA game, but it's certainly left its mark.
While I certainly don't support this type of behavior, I am very surprised that Gamespot would even reprint the specific, crude insults on its own website. I saw a Gamespot post on Facebook earlier that, before being removed/changed later, said that the legal team had to be persuaded to be allowed to post "boobs". I'm disappointed to see much stronger language being used, even if it's being called out as wrong, in an article on my favorite gaming news site.
I was going to post about how Gamespot readers are definitely going to be more interested in Microsoft's and Sony's next consoles than the Wii U, but then I realized, if Gamespot readers aren't interested in the Wii U, who is going to be interested in it. (BTW I think I participated in this survey, and the only thing I find surprising is how low the support of the next xbox/playstation really is.)
