Each Costume you buy is specific to that character.
Your best off buying any packs they have, instead of each one.
Personally, I don't see the point in buying bikinis and schoolgirl outfits for videogame characters, but if I was going to buy that DLC I would do so in bulk.

I'm not a noob at this sort of thing.
However, I can not for the life of me pull of his #36 Flash Sword Kick (Hold Right K+H)
It is (seemingly) the simplest command ever. Howver, for the life of me I can not figure out why he won't do the move.
I've come to understand there are some quirks with the Virtua Fighter characters (I have only played some of VF5FS)
I researched "just frame" moves, and it doesn't seem to apply as it's a SINGLE kick...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1.) The issues with solo ranked matches is a technical issue they are working on. Try playing arcade, and you will get a lot of throw down requests in the meantime.
2.) There are a ton of lobbies, I just got done playing like 15 matches online.
3.) The game has a NUMBER of subtle changes to the fighting system, for instance Hitomi's side-kick is different, You have to learn how to adapt to some of these changes.
4.) The DLC is optional, you don't HAVE to guy and buy the skimpy outfits (Nor do I understand why anyone would
5.) This game is an EXCELLENT update to DOA5, with the training modes specifically being of note. My Hitomi game has increased immensely. Not to mention it's nice to know all the subtleties of how the DOA fight system works. I never understood WTF a critical stun was until this mode came along.
So what you should NOT do is listen to this person.
What you SHOULD do is buy DOA5U and have fun fighting you ass off like I've been doing for the past hour or so.
Did I mention it's ONLY 40$? That's a steal.
EDIT: There are 4 new characters, not 2.
Found this in an onbscure corner of the internet and wanted to share.
If you are like me one of the nicest little features of DOA 5 Ultimate that caught your eye was the fact that in gameplay demos characters seem to be able to change up their hair.
Well you were right in assuming that and Team Ninja is a bunch of buttholes for not telling us how AT ALL.
So to get your alternative hairstyle, do the following.
1. On the character select screen, choose your character (Hitomi, in my case) Push A, or (cross) to choose that character.
2. While scrolling the costume selection, Hold down either L1 or R1 while choosing your costume, and the selection noise will change.
3. You can also put glasses on by holding either left or right on the d-pad and choosing your costume.
TIP: These can be combined, for instance Holding L1+Right on the D-pad gives Hitomi a ponytail and glasses.
I'm not sure of who has all what combos, but I recall DOA 4 giving Kasumi a retarded amount of hair options.
Personally, I'm just glad I can put Hitomi's hair up before I have her kick your ass.
=D
Happy Fighting guys.
If anyone has a PS3 and wants to throwdown my GamerTag (sadly and unchangably) LiquidGhostFox.
I pre-ordered it the other day. When I did the Gamestop clerk told me I was the first, and only, person to pre-order it.
I'm just sad there is not going to be a midnight opening for any game that night, so I can't pick it up until after work.
I always heard about it on X360, but I just never got around to playing it.This sounded like the way to go when they announced it.
Also, I never saw Twin Peaks, but it sounds like something I'd like and one of my friends never shuts up about it.
