Fallout New Vegas is very similar to Fallout 3, and it didn't take me long to get familiar with the controls and the exploration. There are a lot more useful items to pick up, use, trade, and sell this time around, and while some things I still need to wrap my head around (all the different ammo types and mods, and also campfire recipes), I'm currently enjoying my free roam around the Mojave Wasteland. I've encountered interesting people, intriguing story quests, and some humourous dialogue options. Combat is solid, and the aim down the sights option adds for better encounters, however I still feel long range combat is difficult. Even at medium distances rifles only have about 30% chance to hit, which is unlikely, especially since enemies seem to have a much higher chance to score a hit. But the exploration is totally engaging, and every building seemingly forces you to enter it and uncover any dark secrets within.

Glitches encountered:
Major - 0
Minor -1 -I left a building and saw a Radscorpion that I killed minutes before flying around before eventually landing. :P

Overall, I don't think Fallout: New Vegas is as good as Fallout 3, but I have a long way to go and I'm going to take as much time with this game and explore everywhere I can, as the encouraged exploration to find all sorts of worthwhile goodies is really addicting fun. Technically, I've seen a lot better looking games, but artistically, New Vegas still has awe-struck moments like its predecessor. My main issue with the game is the framerate and screen tearing, which is often a frequent occurance, where the game may briefly stutter and feel like it'll freeze. But I'm riding my luck at the moment ;)
