Well, football is my favourite sport, and here are my top 5 favourite football players (currently).

#5 - Taye Taiwo

The 25 year old Nigerian Left Back currently plays for Marseille. He is most well known for his extremely powerful long range strikes on goal.

#4 - David Beckham

One of the most famous footballers around! The 35 year old England Midfielder, who currently plays for L.A. Galaxy, is most well known for his free kicks, and his incredible passing and crossing accuracy.

#3 - Alberto Aquilani

The 26 year old Italian Central midfielder is currently on loan to Juventus from Liverpool. He can operate in a holding position or an attacking position behind the strikers, and is known for his long range efforts on goal.

#2 - Gonzalo Higuain

Gonzalo Higuain is a fantastic striker who currently plays for Real Madrid. The 22 year old Argentine is well known for his clinical finishing and outside of the boot shots.

#1 - Sergio Ramos

Sergio Ramos, Right Back for both club (Real Madrid) and country (Spain) is by far my favourite footballer. I just love watching him play. He displays a goal-scoring instinct unusual to many defenders, and is well known for his adventurous attacking runs down the wing.
