If I can speak my mind freely here, and not get moderated for it, then it is truly an act from on high, because I've come to realize Gamespot is the the closest thing to an internet concentration camp.

It seems like you can't even post a well-scripted and educational opinion on things without getting a finger wagging. I mean, seriously, I don't want this to be like a group of/b/tards, but it's absolutely ridiculous to moderate on such an unforgiving level. You'd think that every single person who glances at these forums would absolutely kill themselves if they were even in the slightest way offended by another. I know for a fact that the internet is run over by too many trolls and disingenuous people, but it's impossible to run such a tightly run site without pissing off people for an entirely different reason; treating people as if their opinions would cause virtual upheaval.

Even if I get moderated for this, I just don't care anymore. I'm tired of having my personality and opinions shoved back down my throat.
