Yes, that perfectly sums it up.

Reminded me of Super Mario RPG alot; it had quirky(er) dialouge, a great story, and fun battles which used timing puzzles (you tap to the beat of songs)

And now I'm playing the prequel Earthbound and finding it BORING.
