I swear i am the last one to defend MS, but most of you have a severe lack of reading comprehension. They said THEY HOPE Kinect Sports Rivals is the type of evergreen game that games like Mario Kart are for Nintendo.
If they put the effort into the game, and it has long lasting appeal because it is forever fun because of the nature of the game, competition with other players, then maybe they they will succeed with this game.
I hope it does succeed and i have lots of fun playing people on Live for a long, long time.
It is strange for me, as i like motion controls in certain games for Wii/ Wii U and the Move on PS3 and soon PS4. But Kinect does nothing for me at all. I am not going to be closed minded, but i am going to sit back a year or two and see if MS can actually make Kinect 2.0 a usable game input device that's worth a damn.
I love my Wii U and Nintendo games. I cant wait to play all of the games listed in the article. But why, Nintendo, does it take a year after launch for your consoles to become relevant? The waiting game better be over and you better keep the games coming very regularly from now on, because that is the only thing that will keep you in the market up against Sony and to a lesser extent, MS.
I already know i want a PS4. In the past, i always owned multiple consoles, but this time around MS is going to have to convince me that it's worth my time and money to get a second console this generation. Aside from a few exclusives, what will owning a more expensive Xbox One do for me that's not done already by my PS4?
ZombiU was enough for me to get on board with the Wii U. Pikmin 3 also. Just need a price and release date, i got plenty of store credit at Gamestop to pre-purchase the system and a few games hopefully.
