Yup, a new mod draft just finished. I knew one would come soon, but that soon?!... I was reading the blog of a friend of mine when he mentioned "Congrats on edubuccaneer for becoming a mod". Next thing you know, I jumped to Eduardo's profile... iMod emblem. Well, if they selected him as a reviews moderator, he could have been selected separately, as Draqq, DrFish and MrCHUP0N. Anyway, went to see to AtM if they announced there the draft, I seen it on the forums page.

cakeorrdeath: Mainly seen him on System Wars, which is probably why I think Casey Wegner and Jake Toricello recommended him. What can I say, he surely belongs to the core of SW regulars that are surely more intelligent and thoughtful than most of the other posters.
CodingGenius: Met him on the CCU, but the first time I seen him posting was grambyte's blog (by the way, where are you grambyte? I really miss your good ol' blogs. :( ). He's a nice guy and I have never seen him doing something wrong, but didn't actually thought he was going to be modded. Without a doubt, though, the community managers have made a good choice.
DirkVDV01: Surprising presence, but yet not so surprising if we take a look at his friends list and the places where he hangs out the most... Just that I hope he won't do the exactly same thing bhame did - leaving GS after only 2 months since being modded. By the way, I really dunno why bhame has still the mod badge even though he hasn't logged in since Octomber. Even though he's pretty active on another site...
Mad_Scientist: Nice to see a VU regular in this list, even though I'm not very familiar with this person. Like I said, only seen him posting on the VU, but yet again, I can't say Bethany has made a bad choice...
UpInFlames: A pretty good poster over General Games Discussion, but sincerly I wasn't expecting (and neither himself) to seen him becoming a mod, but on the other hand, I think he's a better choice than LaP was last draft. (LaP got demoted in only few months because he barely logged in...)
Gallego: You certainly deserve this 100%. No doubt on that.
Jerell_rast: I have seen him around, but I seriously didn't expect him to move so high in the ranks.
edubuccaneer: Remember when I celebrated one year of GameSpot membership and I awarded Edu my "User of the Year" award? Well, at that time I said he really should become a moderator. And... voila! Even though a gMod position wouldn't be too bad for him, I gotta say he's very suitable to a reviews/video blogs moderator position. Congratulations, Edu! :)
matcoke: Huh, he tracked me back, for some reason, few months ago, on my old account. Weird, since I haven't posted on SSN and System Wars Union for months, so why would he track me back?... Anyway, he become a mod. I would have expected from Soul to bring up some recommendations.
It's weird though that no one from Goose's Garage and Church & State got promoted... Maybe, if Goose, MarkSmith and Elraptor made recommendations to the community managers, the requirements weren't obtained by those recommended users...
So, that's it. Short version, congratulations to everybody and see you wearing the gMod/tMod badge soon! :wink: As for the others... good luck on reaching the next draft. :) I'm sure that the people who would have talent for moderating will get recognized by the staff sooner or later. Don't lose your faith! :)
