@surrealme The "after-dinner-mint" in this case would be the "stargazer" scene. Not the end of the 100 hour story. Not exactly the greatest analogy ever you've got there...
@cgmann16 When has Bioware ever said they're planning new Mass Effect games? Because I've been following this pretty closely and I've never heard of them saying any such thing. Although I suppose EA might take the reigns of the ME franchise and make a new game, although personally my interest in that would be minimal.
@JimmyJimJim @ofnetec Dude, when it comes to making games, the likes of Rockstar, Blizzard, and Bungie don't hold a candle to Mario shovelware and Madden!
@Cazy008 I think the point of the article was that there was a time when Rockstar, Blizzard, etc. would WANT to be there because it great for publicity. These days, it's just not necessary, so in that sense, yes, it does have something to do with the relevance of E3.Does that mean E3 is irrelevant? No, and the article didn't say it was. But it is certainly less relevant that it used to be.
@MrRetardo: Who cares about graphics? I'm running a Core i7 930, Geforce GTX480, 6gb DDR3, 1TB HDD, so my PC is pretty much fast asleep when WoW's running, but that has nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that WoW is the most polished MMORPG on the market. The combat is fluid, the dungeons are finally challenging again, and the game is virtually bug-free.
