Uh, sorry to burst that bubble, but S-Video cables still only produce 480i. They can't go any higher than 480i, it's just higher quality picture.

Maybe a bare bone system with NO blu-ray, get the systems install base higher.dynomitemasta

How exactly would you play ps3 games on that?

What do you guys use to hook up to speakers?  I plan on hooking to the hdmi port on my monitor and need to know what to use so that I can actually get sound.  Thanks.

I upgraded to vista and there's no way i'm going back to xp.  Vista runs twice as fast on my computer than xp did.

I was in my best buy the other day and they had about 10 ps3's. (I didn't bother to count)  The funny thing is I overheard the salesrep telling someone he shouldn't buy one.
