my advice to is is actually to save money because although it might be cool living with your parents now it won't be in a few years time when your older.
Do you have a car? surely you'd like a car. if you have a car - you know they don't last forever and you'll need money for a new one one day.
buying dvds - yes a waste of money.

When I'm older? I'm 27 in 3 months.
I don't have a car and don't want one. I live downtown. With no parking around anyway I take public transportation or just walk.
option 3. is'nt ps3 online (psn) free though?auron_16
It's online for free but I need a router because I can't pick up a strong enough signal when I scan for one.
do you live with your parents?Jandurin
Yes, and I like it that way. I still get girls too. I'm seeing one on the side right now. Living at home = me being semi-rich as opposed to poor
After paying rent and food and bills I have $780 a month for myself. I really hate saving money since it's always there again next month so I like to spend it all. Was wondering how I should spend it. Was thinking of a few options:
1) new pc tower, get ps3 online, world of warcraft account, and 5-6 PS3 games a month
2) new pc tower, get ps3 online, world of warcraft account, 13 blu ray movies, 3 games a month
3) get ps3 online, get xbox 360 and live account, 5-6 games a month
4) get ps3 online, 13 blu ray movies, 3 games a month
Problem I have with movies is that I usually watch them once or twice and then they collect dust for over a year. There are a few exceptions and I already own those movies. Depending on the type of game I'll either put a lot of time into it or just play it recreationally. Something like Warcraft I would devote time to but a game like NHL 09 I just play for the fun of it and don't concern myself whether I get very good at it.
I need a new pc tower regardless, this one doesn't even have enough memory to run WoW on it's minimum settings. I don't use the internet much except for gaming, facebook, and looking up game walkthroughs and codes. I'm going to get a wireless router to get my ps3 online regardless.
Was thinking of the possibility of getting a 360 just so I could play my friend who lives 8 hours away games. 360 also has classic arcade which I would love.
You should do more fun stuff, you wont find girls that will date you in your room....real girls no men trying to be girls online:evil:epic_pets
Women aren't a really big priority for me. They were when I was a virgin but now that I've experienced sex it's kind of not a big deal anymore. Most of the time I'd rather be having a Mario Kart party with unlimited chicken wings and mountain dew than be on a date with a hottie. I like being by myself, I've never really had friends my entire life except one person, and I still talk to him online daily.
All I really ever do is play games, chat online, post on numerous message boards, watch the same few movies over and over (usually Star Wars and Lord of the Rings), read Tolkien books, go eat at BK or McDonalds, and listen to death metal.
I personally really enjoy my life. It could use more women but I'd rather have one that likes me for who I am rather than what I have to pretend to be. I like staying up as late as I want and sleeping in as late as I want. I like going out for fast food burgers. I like my monthly trip to Walmart for Mountain Dew, Coca-Cola, and a few PS3 games and Blu Ray discs. I'm becoming a Tolkien scholar and really enjoy the world of Middle-Earth.
My family thinks I need to get a life. I'm only 26 and a half and already live this awesome life. I see no wrong in living with my parents until I get a girlfriend to move out with or else my friend from another province moves down here so we can get a place together. I pretty much spend all my time in my room now except when I'm on the computer (which is when my dad and brother are at work).
Does this seem like a wasteful existance to you or the ultimate vacation (like I see it)?
