It's that time of the year. All Swedes go into a frenzy, waiting for Saturday Night, discussing it with every human being they can get hold of, buying ridiculously much popcorn and reading anything they can find about it. It's time for: MELODIFESTIVALEN: :o
For those of you not familiar with the concept, Melodifestivalen (translated "the melody festival") is one of the biggest traditions in Sweden. It's a music competition spread out over five weeks, in which we all decide which song will participate for Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest in May. It's one huge cornfest, which no one admits to liking, but everyone watches and adores nevertheless. All the songs are usually sucky, all the clothes are ridiculous and everything about it is just cheesy: but it's so nice. It's every Swede's guilty pleasure. And tomorrow it's time again.
The first quarterfinal is held tomorrow, and all the people in Sweden will sit in their sofas, ridiculing and laughing at the songs, and loving music they normally hate. Ah traditions.

Also, I'd like to officially announce that I, not at all influenced by Adam's recent blog :P, have decided to give Nip/Tuck a try. I think I'll really like it. Otherwise, when it comes to tv, I'm up to date with both Ugly Betty and How I Met Your Mother, and my next project is Studio 60, which I'm really liking so far. Picking up Nip/Tuck, however, will result in my postponing Dexter, but I think I'll live
