Hello nice to meet everyone i'm an old user which had not posted for years...

I need help to find a particular game, 1)a space sim, 2)in third person view, 3)with rpg elements and rankings, 4)possibly with the possibility to buy a new ships... instead the first one you are given in the game 5) with every single ship upgradable (with a slot system) with new weapons and other extras 6) with some freedom to play "non storyline tied" missions like commerce escort killing aliens or space monsters limitlessly 7) possibly with the ships upgradable with external UAV (:s) 8) possibility to join clans or corporations and being paid for it ^_^ 9)gives me a coffee in the morning (just joking)

n.b.: i DON'T care if the game is old really

Dude there is only one game that has everything you are asking for and has so much more to offer and that is Eve-Online, I have played that game for almost 4 years now and when it comes to Space Sims or Space anything Eve-online is the way to go. Type Eve-Online into GS serach tab above and look for there 14 day free trial and you can download the game for free and you need no credit card or anythign to try the trial. So give it a shot as someone mentioned above yes it is quite a steep learning curve but once you got it there will be endless hours of fun.

And not only can you have Coffee in the morning you can have exotic dancers as well :D

I have the games, but I haven't gotten around to playing these two yet.....might be worth looking into.

Nexus: The Jupiter Incident

I really, really liked Freelancer as well...though the game glitched up on me about 3/4 of the way through the game and any previous saves to where the game was glitching, didn't resolve the problem.

I just didn't have the ambition to play back to where I was....maybe I will one day. I picked up DarkStar One and Nexus: TJI about 6-8 months ago, but I just haven't had the time to play them. I haven't had much time to play any games for that matter.....I'll get to them eventually. They look good, but I hear they're not as good of a game as Freelancer.

Those two might be your best choices if you're looking for something compairable to Freelancer. I know that Nexus can be purchased on Steam, not sure about DarkStar.

Oh sweet, they look pretty decent :P I'll go look for them today hopefully they have them here. Thanks for the info and some advise if you find the time play Freelancer again you will want to know how the story develops one of my best storys i have ever seen in anything.

Yeah it was i am so hoping that oneday there will be a Freelancer 2 but i guess i should just keep on dreaming lol :P

For guys who are having it freeze whilst trying to install try as said before disconnect from PSN and try the install then. I have been playing basically non stop since i got my copy on the 27th, when i first started playing my PS3 was disconnected so everything worked fine, i only connected my PS3 yesturday and was the first time i played with it connected and still no problems, thought that could be that i have pasted the problem area.

If you want to break the habit, all you really have to do it completely uninstall it, especially if you have the CD version of the game. Having to change out 4 cds and endure hours of updating to play the game again will be enough to keep you away. Trust me.dos4gw82

I have the CD version for both WoW & BC and i have installed that game so many times its become second nature to me now i just play on my 360 while it installs so uninstalling is def not the way to go to try and quit. If you really want to quit delete your character, or give away your accoung or type some crazy long password "aadadafsdsgdfdfg" copy & paste it in both that way you wont beable to use your account, but really if you want to quit it should not be that hard just stop playing lol.
