Well, a lot's happened since the last time I blogged. I finally bought that electric guitar I've wanted for so long. I've been learning a lot of nice songs, mostly jrock, but a lot of Filipino Rock. There's only a few english songs I've learned, but my friends are kinda picky with the songs we choose. My friend's girlfriend let me listen to some Motion City Soundtrack songs and I love em! I've also started watching A LOT of anime. I finally finished "Flame of Recca" and recently started reading the manga. "Great Teacher Onizuka", also known as GTO, is great and I've also started watching an Anime called "Soul Eater". It's great but short, only 10 episodes and I'm on episode 8. It was so hot today so we decided to go swimming in the pool at my friend's apartment, but everytime we go swimming, the damn manager has something to say. He's such an ass! We're actually planning to let the air out of his tires one day, haha. Maybe. I wear glasses once again and had another haircut. Trying out this "Fauxhawk" look for a while. Been looking for a new job lately after being dropped out of college, which really sucks! At least the band keeps my busy. Not that good and I haven't written any music in a long time, so we've been doing mostly covers.

This is "Glamorous Sky" from the live action version of the Manga/Anime, NANA. I love this manga because it revolves around two rock bands which is great!

I experienced SUDS (Sudden Unexpected Death Syndrome) and survived this morning a few minute's before 7:00am. In Tagalog, SUDS is called bangungot. It was weird. It started out with this weird dream. I was at some indoor swimming pool and just jumped of the diving board when I heard some weird narration. The voice was some guy saying, "You know what happens when you dive all the way to the bottom of the pool, the Shadow Man gets you." In my dream I laughed as I got to the bottom because I know nothing like that exists, but as I looked around under the water, I saw a human like figure made up of what looked like black smoke. After that, it disappeared and out of nowhere, something started to hold me down under the water. I had this weird feeling all over me like a really strong wind was holding me down. I woke up and I couldn't move. I still felt like there was wind holding me down even though I was awake. I could look around with my eyes, but I just couldn't move. I was getting really scared when my arm popped up. The weird feeling all over my body disappeared, but my body was trembling. I remembered how my friends described his encounter with SUDS and this seemed like it, so I searched Google for the word "bangungot", and it came up under Wikipedia. After reading the description, there was no doubt that what I had encountered was SUDS.

I made these out of boredom...

... a game called "Mabinogi". It's pretty much your typical MMORPG (or Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game [which means an online game that a lot of people play at the same time which allows interaction between players] for those who don't know the meaning) wherin you create a character and go about you business.

In this game, you pretty much live your fantasy life. You can go explore, get a part time job, hang out with people you meet online, and play music!

This one is pretty innovative as it also allows you to compose music in-game by the use of instruments, such as the ukelele, and score sheets. The way you make music is by using MML (Music Markup Language [a language used by the comuter to generate sounds]) to make up songs. It teaches you how to make it, although very difficult if you don't know much about music and notes. A lot of people made great compsitions. Mostly songs from animes and RPGs (such as Final Fantasy).

It's pretty good and I can't wait for the final release of Mabinogi.

It's a 2d fighting engine that you can use to pretty much create your own game. I've actually been playing this game a lot and customizing it. I'm even developing my own character. Spriting is just a pain though. It's a fun game, and you guys should try it if you're into games like Marvel Vs. Capcom and such!!!

I haven't been gaming in a while. The only games I've been playing are Guitar Hero II and Battle Realms. I have Guild Wars, but I just don't feel it anymore. Am I losing a part of me that I've held on to for so long? Am I no longer a "GAMEFREAK"?

Well, anyways, I watched a great movie today. It was call "El Orfanato" or "The Orphanage" in English, it was subtitled. It's a story about a woman who buys the orphanage she was raised in with a plan to open up a home for special children.

On the day of the welcome party, her son goes missing, and she is forced to go through the history of the orphanage to find her son.

I didn't expect much from this movie at first, but it pulled me in. The story was great and it has great "jump our your seat" moments. It took me by surprise.

A lot of things have happened since then. Hehe, and it's Christmas morning now. I can't sleep, but it doesn't really matter. I got two "real" lightsabers for Christmas! Hehe, of course they're fake, but it's amazing what "The GIMP" can do! Here's some pics!

Yup, tomorrow at 5PM, I'll be on the way to the airport. It's been two years since I've been there, and I'm so excited. Now if I can only clean up my room in time...

That's right, just 8 more days till I go to the Philippines! I'm so excited because I'll be with old friends, maybe make some new ones. I'll get to see my brother perform in his new band. My sister's turning 18 and she's having her huge birthday bash. We're gonna travel around islands I've never been to. And last but not least, I'm celebrating my 20th birthday on my last day there. Since the legal drinking age is 18 in the Philippines, I'm gonna be drinking a lot. I just can't wait!!!

... my job today. I just can't take this crap anymore. I'm so sick (really getting sick as in coughing and sneezing) of my job. I gave my two weeks already, but I'm sick today and don't want to work anymore. I'm going to Philippines in two weeks, so I just recover before I go there, because I've been sick for two weeks already. Maybe I should go to the doctor, but I don't have a license so I can't drive to one. I just feel really crappy.
