I finished my first piece of video game art today. I'm treating this as a warm up to more technical portraits. (On average, I take around seven or eight hours to sketch something. This one took a couple at the most.)

Sonic was the first ever franchise that I got hooked on. Naturally, it makes sense to start here.

Firstly though, I want to share a funny, Itchy & Scratchy-esque drawing that I found last year. This piece goes back twelve years, to my mid teens.

This was mostly from my twisted imagination, but I remember using reference to capture a general likeness.
