I actually really enjoyed the ending. The first time I didn't quite get the ending I wanted and it was very heart-wrenching with getting to know all of the characters.
I just wish there was an epilogue, which is what I'm hoping is to come.
there's no way you can say that the PS3 could ever out beat a PC when you boil it down. Simply put the PS3 GPU is not as powerful as the current high end PC GPUs made by nvidia/ATI. It's old technology in the PS3. Even though you have that impressive cpu in the PS3, when it comes to graphics it's not as important because almost all of the graphics processing comes from the GPU, not the CPU. That's why with games you could have bare minimum CPU specs and have a great processor and still have it run pretty good. And to say that it's all because the PS3 is more complex to write for is just a crutch of an excuse.
In everything else? There are so many more games for the 360 than the PS3. A lot of things that were once exclusive to the PS systems are now coming over to 360 as well and with the fact that the graphics run smoother and look nicer, why even buy the PS3? For MGS 4 and FF XIII? It's tough to fork out that much money for a PS3 with those things in mind.
Top of the line video cards are always going to be expensive like that from the get go. It's not exclusive to the 8800. Just look at when the 6800 first came out, it was as expensive as the 8800 is.
both companies are guilty of stealing ideas. Microsoft fist came out with the idea of their indexed searching, but apple decided to take that idea and do it. Both companies have done these sorts of things throughout their history. And to be honest, it may have simularities, but not enough to say their ripping it off.
Soilworker123 Honestly...I dont think im going to but Vista, i mean its a good OS and all but for one its to much money. Im not a big PC gamer and when i do play games im playing games like Starcraft and Warcraft 3....which i dont need vista for. Im not playing any other graphically advanced games. And im a big console gamer....which is what i plan on being forever. I would make buying Vista a possibilly.....maybe!, if i had the money....but i think ill just keep that money and put it towards the PS3..............................PS3 RULES!!! You complain about the price of vista when you bought a PS3? Vista has so many functions that people can use it for that it's worth the money, but a PS3 does make a good paperweight. The PS3's doing the worst out of all the consoles.
I agree with you ibitmyeyeoff. I've been using vista for about 6 months (rc1 and 2) and overall it runs great. From what gamespot has done it appears that games at the moment aren't going to be noticable with performance, but from looking at the screenshot comparison, I was impressed. It looked a bit nicer than the dx9 shots. One thing you need to take into consideration is the fact that vista and xp are much different from each other in the fact that they aren't even based off the same kernel. I'm suprised that there aren't more games and such that don't work for it. I think they've done a great job with this OS compared to the ones in the past. Heck this launch was better than the xp launch in my opinion. Sure there are going to be bugs, but it runs great. As far as the memory issue.. who really cares? it takes more memory? then buy some more, it's not like it's that expensive to get some decent ram these days. Go to newegg.com or something and get some for like 30-60 bucks. Sure you have to spend a little money, but it's not enough a reason to say it's worse than xp. If that were the case you wouldn't even be using xp at the moment because that uses more ram than 2k or 98. anyway I'm definately installing it on my pc, but I'm dual booting. I'd say give vista a shot, let them prove that dx10 and vista are really great once they make games that were actually programmed with vista in mind.
