[QUOTE="88mphSlayer"]

totally defeats the point of competitive multiplayer if some people have a handicap and others don't

CentricStorm
Exactly. Pitting console gamers against PC gamers is unfair and the multiplayer experience would be heavily unbalanced in favour of the controller users. Recent FPS games like Modern Warfare 2, Halo 3, and Section 8 have massive levels of aim assist, in some cases almost reaching auto aim levels. The PC players wouldn't stand a chance, unless they themselves have 100% accuracy, in which case they are admitting to hacking.

I actually doubt it, I would be fairly confident than any decent FPS gamer, would aim better and faster than the aim assist found in any console games. I remember in the days of BF2, it was very possible to aim better than an aimbot or hack, it simply required a high skill level. Even the best, greatest and latest aimbots are not as good as the real thing so to speak. The sensitivity of the mouse means that PC gamer will most likely aim more accurately(fine adjustments) and also be able to shift their aim faster...

Atheism is like any religion or philosophical belief. For some people it is the path to truth and enlightenment, others will no doubt seek and perhaps find answers elsewhere. I am inclined to view all of them as equally valid, after all, we are after all very different.

They are fine fellows. As with any religion, they can believe or think what they wish, as long as they do not cause harm or try to force their beliefs upon others. Some aspects of their religions are perhaps not things I would agree with(i.e. the earlier use of the Caste system in Hinduism), but in general I have no qualms with them. (Though, I shall note I remain undecided on the religious front, so I am not exactly an Atheist per say. ^^)
