You definitely don't need an AMD FX-60 and all that to run this game at a very good and visually appealing quality. I have an 2ghz AMD 32-bit on WIndows XP Pro with 2gb of PC3200 megs of RAM and working off a RAID-0 Western Digital Raptor set and the video card is an ATI X800. I've had this rig for years, built by me. Performance on anything is also based on whether the user does defrags after installation/uninstalling a program, spyware scans regularly, and registry sweeps after any uninstallation. Also, the use of memory management programs like Cacheman Pro (which I use) has literally made a huge difference. Defrag program I use is PerfectDisk 8. Last point: if people would stop trying run every game at 1600x1200 at the highest resolution and using hardware physics, performance would jump dramatically. I don't have raided video cards and my monitor's not HD capable...it's not even made anymore. But it's a 21inch IBM P260 and works great.

I couldn't agree more, kaziechameleon, and the one line I really agreed with was "people paying money for your software aren't your beta testers". If that isn't the truth! Make a DX10 for XP and let us still do things our way without killing everything. The whole unsigned driver issue is going to be a problem unless they change it.
