Brothers In Arms: Road to Hill 30

What a game! This sets the bar for tactical based WW2 shooters out there, which in fact, are slim to none. BIA has given me shellshock that only Call of Duty has given me before.

I was scared out of my wits when there were two german morter teams firing at me and my squad while we had to get over there and take them out and then all of a sudden BAM, a morter hits me and my squad. Knocking me over and killing my team mate. I was laying on the ground for a good 10 seconds before I get up and the ringing in my ears stops. I get up and look at my fallen comrade and he's gone for good. I tell my team to move up to cover and fire at the morter team. While we are running up another shell hits my two team mates. Sending them flying and killing them instantly. "What am I going to do?" I thought. I see a patch of cover right next to a morter team where they will not see me. I sneak up there and pick off two of them. The other one is looking around while I take him out with a good m1 shot.

So I have one down one to go. I quickly cross the field where the ex-morter team was and find another patch of cover to pick them off at. I quickly receave some fire and get hit once. I duck down and fire at them and manage to get one of them. I go down to reload and one charges at me. As soon as I finish reloading the german goes around the corner of the cover and fires off at me. Hitting me once. I move quickly to the left and fire at him. Hitting him in the head and killing him.

Two down, one to go. I quickly cross over and duck behind the sand bags making the cover for the morter. I pop up and fire quick shot off and nail him in the head, finishing my mission of securing the town.

Yes it is a good game. :D
