Darn. I appreciate the thoughts. I do want it, but I'll have to find another way.

To put it in perspective. I do like Soul Caliber. And I think that game has great value. When it comes to SF4, maybe it's just because I don't like it.

Hello all. I have been on teh fence about BlazBlue for a while now. I was never a big fighting game fan, but Street Fighter 4 sort of got me interested, but didn't quite satisfy me with its few (mostly similar) characters or their hand-full of moves. BlazBlue seems like it's the game I'm looking for. Lots of characters, cool moves, and a Japanese import feel. I also heard via GiantBomb quicklook that it doesn't like English (not sure what that means.).

Anyway, I think I'm going to give it a shot; however, no place near me has it to rent. I thought about just picking it up from Futureshop, but I had no idea it was 70 bucks (Canadian, and thats 80 after tax)
It it worth $80, I don't understand paying full price for fighting games. That's what I did with SF4 and it felt very stripped down for a full price game. Also, if it is worth it, should I get the $100 Limited Edition?

Thanks

I have been looking fro a new DS game for a while, something I can play on the bus to class. I have heard good things about Professor Layton. The Diobolical box looks really neat, but I haven't played the first one. My question to your professors is this. Should I get the Diobolical Box first and grab The Curious Vilage later, or vice versa. Is the second game drastically different than the first, and is there any "story" that might want me playing it in order.

Thanks

While I don't agree completely with the main poster, I will say that some of the things sound odd, but I will say that death streaks are a really great idea. I suck at CoD. I like to play it, but every so often I get into a game an die 7 times in a row within a few seconds and I just get frustrated and want to leave. I am hoping that this feature will makes things better. Either way, nothing is going to stop ME from buying it, if you aren't interested, I'm sure theyr will be plenty of people chomping at the bit to get your spare copy.

I don't know about you guys, but Ibought CoD today and I can't connect to a single online game.  I've been trying to connect for over an hour.  It just keeps ticking away.  Even when I star my own game no one will join.  I want to play some MP already! this is rediculous.

That's not the point guys, I never even gave a PC option, my question is, should I just get the PS3 version and hope the content does come out, or deal with the 360's anoying fan?

Yes I know PC PC PC, but I don't have a PC that can run games. Gaming PC are WAY to much and too much upkeep and you know what I'll say it, I don't like Games on Pc, yes, I have of course thought about Mods and such, which I would want, but I just can't stand playing games on PC. Sorry guys.

OK, I've run into a small problem. I don't know which Version of Fallout 3 to get, Ps3 or 360. Now I don't think this is a GameWars post but if people are feeling that way then I can take this elseware.

Now Yes the 360 version will get new content eventually, but on yht other hand the Ps3 Might get it in a game of the year edition (We all know Fallout's going to get it.) like they did with oblivion. Also, I know this may be picky, but the 360 fan is really loud. I remember hating it durring a dungeon crawl in Oblivion so it will still be anoying in Fallout.

Is all the "exclusive" content worth getting in a 360 version, is I'm going to spend my time hating these anoyances. Even though a Ps3 version might come out later, cuz I would buy it, the only thing is my save game.

Thoughts?
