@locke90: Since it's not sold by Nintendo, Nintendo wouldn't be offering any warranty for it in the first place. ColorWare might offer one, but given that they're dirty enough to sell a (bad) paintjob for 200 dollars, I doubt it.

Funny how they don't want to be known for putting out Elder Scrolls game after Elder Scrolls game but they're fine with putting out Skyrim after Skyrim.
