I think TehSonofUglyhas it right. nobody feels the bottom of thier PS3 so they do not notice the heat. The heatsink is probably more effective from the top of the system nowanyways as the heat was probably trapped more easily at the bottom.

Returns are awesome. Just blow money on something, play for a while, decide to get rid of it? Easy...

Openedgames however are not returnable. The most you can do is even exchange or trade it in for a fraction of its value at gamestop.
Games, or any software, are not refundable, true. But console can be returned. I once even returned a 360 bundle, which had two games inlcuded, both opened... and I got all my money back.
Software bundled with hardware count as part of the return of the hardware. Any loose interpretation of the policy however for separate software, could lead to serious disappointment and anger, and believe me. It does happen. I just wanted people to be aware.

See people? Even better. Just buy it and see for yourself. Don't like it? You have 89 days to give it back.

Haze. got it. k thanks everyone.
Most wiigames developed by nintendo are $50.Nintendo games tend to have a higher degree of polish and replayability. They almost never go down in price. Third party wiigames start at $50 and quickly go down in price to about $30 within half a year and eventually to $20. If you're shopping for wii games be patient for the third party titles. Xbox 360 and PS3games start at $60 and generallyretain thier value for about twice as long. The top selling games for those systems do go down in price eventually however.
Well you have 30 days to return it after purchase...

I'm getting a PS3 slimin the next week. I'm looking for a game that will have a lasting appeal andshow offthe graphics capability of the system. I had wipeout HD in mind. Are there any other suggestions?
I think it is going to be good. I'll be getting the PC version. If you don't have a good graphics chip, then PS3 would be a better option.
You said the original 80gb PS3. You will not find that in most stores as it has not been in production forat least overa year. You might find it in a pawn shop used. Whatmight still be insome stores is the newer 80gb PS3 that is priced what the 40gb used to be and has the same capabilities. The one that is not backwards compatible with PS2 games of coarse.
I would like to see a strategy game from koei remade, like Nobunaga's ambition or Romance of the three kingdoms. I think both would be good on a ds platform.
