Welp, I still haven't beat Overlord. The game is good, but it's control scheme is kind of weird and the setting is kind of whacky. It's a good game though, and i'll get back to it when I have nothing else to play. I've since also picked up Hellgate: London and Call of Duty 4, two games that were on my list. I really wanted to get Gears of War and Crysis, but they're not quite yet available to me, but will be sometime soon. Hellgate: London is a really great game, I am throughly enjoying it, but it has a myriad of bugs that and crashes that need to be fixed. So, I picked up CoD4 today and have played the first few levels. The game is outstanding. My buddy, who is really big on the SAS was freaked by the SAS levels. The game is awesome.

Like I said, most of the games I'm eagerly anticipating aren't released yet. So in attempt to break my gamer's block I bought the game overlord on Steam. It seems like a very interesting game. I will write up a review when i've beaten it.
Usually, I like games with a lot of replayability, like Oblivion, Guild Wars, Total War series, etc, but right now I want something that I can sit down, enjoy, and play and be enthralled with (like GoW and Crysis), so I decided to buy overlord over jericho, due to what people said and what not. Hopefully I made a good decision.
I've also made up my mind that i'm going buy one game at a time, focus on enjoying it, beating it, and getting that sense of closure that comes with beating a single player game. I've been buying too many games that I don't really have the time to finish nor the desire too. I'll get around to playing them more when I get in the mood for them, but right now I need that closure, that satisfaction that games like Crysis, Gears of War, Jericho, and Overlord can provide. The Orange Box did this for me wonderfully, and I tried Stalker, but it too is time consuming (albeit excellent) game. We'll see, Overlord looks cool. :)

Ah, life has been somewhat awkward recently. Don't really feel like talking about it too much. Have been going through a really bad case of gamer's block for the past week or so, meaning I have many games, but am not in the mood for any particular one.
So i've compensated by playing a lot of demos: timeshift, jericho, crysis, U3, Arma, to name a few. I'll tell ya what, i'm definitely buying a Gears of War and Crysis for PC.
For some reason however, the Crysis demo doesn't seem too cooperative with Vista though, but time will tell. Also been watching some movies with some buds, and the fascinating BBC documentary "Planet Earth".

Been playing a lot of World in Conflict, Eye of the North, and Medieval II: Total War in my spare time after I get off duty.
Camp Hovey, Korea sucks big time compared to other locations in Korea, but you adjust, and at least I aintgoing through something like the troops in World In Conflict had to go through...if it were real that is.
