So, I wrote my own monologue for my High Tech audition tomorrow. I just have to call or email to schedule the appointment. It is for a chance to be cast in their Spring 2010 drama play. I don't think there will be so many boys. My monologue isn't really too dramatic though. I can perform it with emotion though. I memorized most of it, and I'm going to study it more. Here it is.
Every beginning in life has its ending. Will we forsee it? Will we understand it? The answer: no. We can't see it coming. We can't control it. What do we do? Do we just wait for it to come and see what happens? Are we helpless to fate? Endings are inevitable. Nothing can last forever, not even the most precious things. Do happy endings truly exist, or are they all just tearful farewells? What do we do while we wait? Will it change everything forever? Will I be around to see it? We can never know. So what are we to do? We should cherish every moment, and prepare ourselves for when that ending comes. Because when it does, there's no going back. It'll all be over in an instant. So appreciate everything you have now. It might all be gone tomorrow.
The ending to the Grey's Anatomy finale inspired me a little. Hehe. Anyway, I have to perform that. I just have to go make my appointment now.
