Apparently, there is snow in the game but it's during the game's prologue mission. The video ends on a cliffhanger so I guess the person who posted it didn't want to spoil the fans too much.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a guy and I'd love to see a female protagonist in a GTA game. They could make her a super badass who takes no crap from anyone and is plenty strong enough to pull victims out of their cars and go on a rampage with a minigun.
But to be honest, I'm kinda tired of these gender debates that pop up every time a new GTA is coming out. They get old rather fast.
There are many reasons why GTA doesn't have licenced vehicle brands. Not only is the licencing fee a major budgetary issue but then there's the strong likelihood that these companies don't want to see their products get stolen, smashed up, shot full of holls, or blown up. They can have licenced vehicles in games like Forza Motorsport, Need for Speed, and Gran Turismo because these racing titles are meant to be as realistic as possible.
The new helicopter looks like a cross between a CH-53 and a Chinook. It could be a return of the Leviathan or the CargoBob from SA. It's nice that they're bringing back the Bati Custom from TBoGT. Hopefully, they'll make it more accessible.
In the event that the game is eventually ported onto PC, I can imagine PC modders going crazy with that blimp. They could modify it to look like a steam-punk airship, model it into an air-born aircraft carrier, or mount armor and gun turrets so it's like a high-flying warship.
Silly, I know, but it just keeps running through my head whenever I think about that blimp. I'm sure the rest of you can come up with equally crazy mod ideas for it, assuming that a PC version will have the vehicle available.
Um, Just Cause 2 was in PC AND current gen, so I think that current gen can handle a map as big or bigger than Just Cause 2's map but probably with a BIT lowered graphics.kik4444
I said that next-gen hardware could handle the map size with ease. Nowhere in my comment did I say that current-gen hardware couldn't handle it.
Being that much bigger than SA should be sufficient enough for this kind of game. As big as, or bigger than, Just Cause 2 would be serious overkill. Maybe they'll make a 950 square kilometer map for GTA6 on next-gen hardware that can support it, but that's not gonna happen anytime this year.
Yeah, I know. I started this thread on Friday the 26th and got my info from an instant-news site that probably didn't have its facts straight. I should have gone to the official R* website instead.
