As I stated I just tried it. I didn't try it 3 months ago. Should I have created a new thread so people could groan about another ODST thread? Meh. My point was I don't get all the hype. There are better shooters out there, at least for the campaign. That's probably where Halo excels--online play.

Hmm. Maybe I just didn't notice because it still seems like I can die pretty easily.

You can buy them with ADAM. You can also buy EVE upgrades and plasmid upgrades.

When you purchase health upgrades do they automatically take effect or do I have to "turn them on" Somehow? I've purchased several but the health bar doesn't appear to increase in size. I assumed I could just take more damage but I'm starting to doubt that now since it doesn't take much to get my health down as I progress.

Ok so I have to let go of the R1 button prior to hitting O again. Got it. Strange I didn't have to do that before.

In the very beginning of Devil May Cry 4 I was able to use the Devil Bringer while in mid air to pull an enemy off the ground to me, and then slam them to the ground. Before I dropped to the ground I could drag someone else to me right away and basically repeat this process and kill a room full of enemies without ever touching the ground. In fact, the second hidden test room requires you to do this five times in a row. The problem is, right before this second hidden test I upgraded my Devil Bringer by extending the range it could grab an enemy. Now suddenly, and I recall this happening my first time playing this game as well, when I grab someone and pull them to me I can't throw them to the ground. Instead, I just drop to the ground as well. This makes doing the mid air grab and slam impossible.

Is this a glitch or what? I can't imagine upgrading the distance of the devil grab would suddenly eliminate this move. Anyone else have this happen to them?

This may seem like an elementary question but I couldn't get my second wireless controller to work while playing Gears tonight. I've got two of the charge and play wireless controllers from Microsoft and my one controller kept getting disconnected presumably because the charge was low. So I turned that controller off and plugged it in. Then I tried to use my second controller but it wouldn't work for the game. I could hold down the Xbox icon button on the center of the controller and it would allow me to move through the desktop and other functions but the game wouldn't recognize it. The message to reconnect the controller wouldn't go away unless I picked up my first controller and use it.

Can you not switch controllers during a game with the Xbox? With my PS3 I can just reassign the controller to Controller 1 and it'll work but I didn't see a way to get my second controller to act as the main controller while the now dead main controller charged. Can anyone help?
