Hey Guys im having massive problems running World in Conflict and Company of Heroes

First of all i cant run WIC in 800x600 with very low graphics with no more than 10fps and CoH i do the benchmark test and i get roughly 30-45fsp probably bit more then that but when i play the campaine it laggs like hell i cant figure it out btw i can play higher end games like GRID, DiRT, Bioshock, COD4 at Ultra Graphics 1440x900 usually or 1280x800 with no lag what so ever

MY SPECS:

Processor: Intel D 3.06ghz(i can oc but a bit hesitant, single core)

Ram: DDR400 1gb

GPU:Nivida 8600GT (1gb)

PSU:500w im guessing

Monitor:19in native at 1440x900

OS: XP Pro screw vista :)

DX: 9 btw the way can XP get 10?

well im look to running crysis on my HP latop my specs are:

2gb Ram

250Gb HDD

Nvidia 8800M GS 880MB-DX10

Intel Dual Core 1.8ghz

I have vista Sadly LOL

and also i need a new CPU for my destop something cheapish but strong enough to run high endish games like COH and WIC
