Is it just me or is MGS4 looking not that impressive graphically. I know the inevitable graphics are not everything response but I just expected more from our friendly neighborhood "super computer" especially when this is the most hyped title from the "year of the PS3." Something tells me GOTY is gonna be GTA4 and MGS4 will be overshadowed by many many better games like Fable2, NG2, Gears 2.....heck even Resistance 2.
Gotta say one big gripe I also have with the game besides the gameplay vids looking like GRAW1 and the horrible comic book-esque storytelling with laughably convoluted plotlines is just the seriousness of the game that is contrasted by constant silliness. Take the video where you see some enemy squad running and flipping like ninja's. They land crouched and draw weapons holding them in the air behind their backs. For me Kojima's stylistic approach is so over the top its just rediculus. Any squad in a stance like that would got shot in a second. Who holds a weapon like that. Looks like they are posing for hero shots not fighting. What a freaking lame game.

its just a rant from a guy who doesn't like a game that feels he should make people think like himself. like 'hey, i hate this game, you should hate it too.' i guess you bought in.
