I agree that the graphical leap this time around is not as impressive, but there is noticeable improvement. Infamous: SS, Driveclub, and Killzone: SF all look better than the average PS3 game. The above poster is right, though. Games made for both current and last gen and lazy HD remasters are not really pushing the PS4 hardware at all and shouldn't be used for comparison. MGSV should look pretty impressive when it comes out.

Specifically though, the lighting is better and there is more detail in the character models and environments. Also, the resolution is higher than most, if not all PS3 games. Frame rate still isn't much better, unless it's a remaster. I'm not a graphics expert so i can't go into much more detail than that. On a side note, I like that the PS store can actually function smoothly in the PS4 compared to the PS3. Oh, and trophies load in a few seconds rather than a few minutes.

I also have both. I've only played the Witcher for about an hour, though, and I'm probably more than halfway through Bloodborne.

Bloodborne is awesome, just extremely frustrating for me. I do prefer the combat in Bloodborne more than the Witcher so far. I would go for Bloodborne if you don't mind a serious challenge and a game that lets you figure everything out for yourself.

These will be my two main games for a while.

They have no competition, that's what's wrong with it. The pressure isn't there to do anything significant with the game.

It's not terrible; they've kept the the good improvements in over the years and removed most of the things that didn't work. It just has a long way to go in my opinion. Also, the announcers are terrible from my experience. They've called the wrong down and distance and said things that don't pertain to the current situation several times.

Yes, I was bored by level 10. I still play occasionally because there's not many other good multiplayer games yet for PS4.

Getting it day 1

Same. Although the graphics look like PS3 level, like one of the other posters said. But I know this was originally developed for the older systems.

I know this probably won't get great scores or anything but it will do the job for me. I'm not looking forward to much else until February. Most of the games coming out Q4 are just sequels that are really starting to bore me (Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, Far Cry).

1. It varies. Usually there are at least two free games for each system (PS3, PS4, Vita) and indie games are pretty common. They will also give out some high budget games that are older, too (Crysis 3, Batman Arkham Asylum, etc). Also, PS4 gets a good portion of Driveclub for free this month, which is a brand new game.

2. Yes

3. If you download a game for free, cut the service, and then sign up again later my understanding is you will be able to play it again once ps plus is restored.

4. Latency is most important here. If you have broadband internet, you're most likely fine, but wired will give you better results than wireless.

5. No. Once ps plus stops, you won't be able to play the free games until you sign up again.

6. Yes...backing up game progress to sony's servers, automatically updating games while in standby mode(ps4), constant discounts. If you have a PS4 it's almost a necessity since you need it to play online for most games. Honestly, I do believe it's worth it and I don't even play as much as I used to.
