my current favourites are bleach and Final Fantasy Unlimited

If you dont know what bleach is hears a wee summary.

Bleach follows the lives of Ichigo Kurosaki, who is a high school student with the ability to see ghosts, and a shinigami (Soul Reaper or, literally, "death god") named Rukia Kuchiki, who crosses paths with Ichigo while hunting an evil spirit known as a hollow. Rukia is wounded during the ensuing confrontation with the spirit and is left with no choice but to transfer her powers into Ichigo. Thus the adventures of Ichigo and Rukia begin. Together they search for hollows and perform soul burials on wayward souls, cleansing the spirits and sending them to Soul Society. The early parts of the story focus mainly on the characters and their pasts, rather than the actual occupation of the shinigami. As events unfold, the story begins to delve deeper into the world of these gods of death on the "other side" called Soul Society. taken from AvN.

Well every game has a few and some can really help you understand alot.

Eg. In Zelda. OOT In the spirit temple Their are pictures of a vaati like creature... But this game was out years before vaati was invented.
But then again they did Can ice and WIND temples from the game.

A large Row Between Sony Computer Entertainment and The Church Of England has broke out due to the contraversal use of Manchester Cathedral in Sony's new Smash Hit.... Resistance: Fall of Man.

Families of Victims of Guncrime in Manchester and The Church of England have Branded the Game 'Sick' and 'Highly irresponsable'.

The Church Of England are considering taking legal action unless the gameis removed from shelves and sony make an official apology. However, Sony Claim it contains the killing of aliens not humans but the church is having none of it.

In My opinion, Ifthe game, currently number one in the charts, Is removed, its popularity will only increase. Perhaps if Sony haf used a fictional Cathedral, although it wouldn't be as real, their would be little contraversy. Like Resi 4 for example.

Also I think that the company, if they are going to use a place of significant importance,should get permission. However, We don't see this happening in games that feature Big Ben,New York and all sorts of places.
